hisexcellency34:I said it then, there is no way SEC will succeed where they failed to give fair hearing to Oando to explain their side of the story. But note that its not yet over for oando. If anything, this might just be the beginning. SEC still has the power to revisit that audit report, and this time, give Oando an opportunity to explain all the wrongs. |

Price of a stock is like the valve on a car tyre. The vertical displacement of the valve as the vehicle moves along is sinusoidal. Always from the lowest to highest. It does not matter if the car itself is moving forward or reversing. |

DOLLARTEX:Dollar Baba you play chess right? I've not heard that word 'decoy' before. Let me tell you one amusing thing, I played against a Pro sometimes ago; he won first round, I won the 2nd. I was just laughing within me that this guy just allow make I win that round so I wouldn't feel bad. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Agbalowomeri: 2:53pm On Sep 30, 2019 |
Mcy56: Ideally, one would expect the company to bid up UPDC price for the proposed right issue But since UACN would be paying the majority share, it pays them to pay less for an increased stake for their shareholders |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 3:08pm On Sep 30, 2019 |
Agbalowomeri:If I get you right, UACN is a majority shareholder in UPDC, thus, getting higher stake at cheaper price is a plus for them shey? Like boosting their capital base? If that's d situation, I better still hold on to my tashere units of UACN then, cos it will benefit them in the medium to long run. Thanks sir. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 3:13pm On Sep 30, 2019 |
locodemy:That GT and Access trading today no be here. Where are those funds coming from? If those volumes doesn't push up their share price by end of this week, then there's something else to it. UPDATED: GTB closed at 29.20. This is expected considering the volume that exchanged hands |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 3:17pm On Sep 30, 2019 |
locodemy: Just take your mind back to what happened during the bearish period. They cause a risebetween 10am to 2pm. Then after 2 pm, more people would have placed large bids at good prices ..... and voom, they dump on you. For bullish one: They cause a fall between 10am to 2pm. Then after 2 pm, more people would have brought out their 'wares' for sale at depressed prices..... and voom, they are all sucked up. If you can buy Zenith at 16, GTB at 25+, UBA at 5.45, Access at 5.7+, FCMB/Fide at 1.5, so why fret if there is intraday drop. Anyway, it is called scaring the weak hands.
