Breast is simply baby's food. Do you lock the door or turn and face the wall when eating in a restaurant?
What if I tell you that my mother breastfed me until I was 10? In church, market, farm, village square, everywhere! Men make una no dey peep breastfeeding women; the baby is just feeding.

I do come across many ladies doing that and its looks a bit awkward to me but who am I to judge when their husbands are not complaining.

I don't think I would love to see my future wife breastfeeding our baby in public just like that. I believe there should be better ways to do that than just bring out their breast anyhow in public because the baby is crying and needs to feed.

I hope maybe some ladies here can actually say something about this.

breastfeeding in public is a child right , no law prohibits is ,in Africa it is a pride , anytime a baby get hungry it's time , it's a fulfillment of nature and it's inate even in lower animals, the feeling of a mother knowing her child is hungry puts aside the views of people around and she has to care for the love she has for her child , any one complaining that his wife is breastfeeding in public is and irresponsible man.

Women believe it is a natural thing to breastfeed. Therefore, it should not be an issue if it's done in public. But for me, I always have this apron for covering while breastfeeding in public. My breasts that I have been hiding and protecting all these years is still mine to protect. Breastfeeding didn't change that.

You should have understood that the real issue I was fixated on was no exposing the breasts .

The way the woman in the picture did is not right. There should be some forms of dignity while breastfeeding the baby.
However, there's nothing wrong in it, only that is should be done with respect.

Babies are meant to be fed on demand...Anytime, Anywhere....once they are hungry feed them immediately, so they can grow up healthy..Their digestive system is still maturing.

Don't starve a crying baby because you are in public and don't want people to see you breastfeeding..That child could have low sugar level(hypoglycemia) at that particular moment and can enter into coma if not given breast milk immediately!
