Cover up or use a nursing bra if possible... if not.... whip them out and begin feeding regardless of time or place. Feeding should not be put off.Any man that gets sexually aroused from watching a woman openly breastfeed a baby is a pervert period.

I don't see anything wrong with that because you can't deprive your kid of breast base on how people will feel. However you can cover it during the process of breastfeeding.

Breast feeding is totally different from eating in public. Something private is involved in this context which is not meant to be seen by a third-party.

Lol your initial defense was not what are saying now go back and read your initial post you were actually proposing another form of feeding babies in public like already made foods. Now you are changing your tune. Look for arba my child is hungry I should looking for. About covering the breast I agree with you on that but the look for hidden place nope.

I work in a primary healthcare centre and I see mothers breastfeed their babies all the time it's become a normal sight to me. It actually depends on the mother. Some especially the Muslims ones wearing hijab know how to do it without exposing the breast, some will use handkerchief or their baby napkin to cover the breast, some might just face a direction where no one can see them while some will look for a private room to do it. I think it also depends on the type of dress the woman is wearing. Some women knowing fully well that they'd breastfeed will wear dresses that'll make it difficult for them to breastfeed their babies comfortably.

Personally I believe it's up to the mother. Nothing should hinder the baby from being breastfed at any time or place when it's required.

I think this thread is specifically targeted at Kogi and Nasarawa women, where a lady of say 25-29yrs could be seen breastfeeding her baby openly. I think women should learn to educate themselves, the same way they do when they find a red stain on a fellow's skirt or pant/trousers

If an adult can eat in public, I see no reason a baby shouldn't eat in public.

Been smiling at some responses since. When my younger son was still breastfeeding, the type of acrobatic display he does will not even allow you to cover up in peace, so if it is exposed, so be it. Someone once told me in the bus that 'feed your child na or you want to suck the milk yourself?' since that day, I stopped wearing gowns until after weaning my child. Motherhood is bae

I use to think I just can't breastfeed in public until God blessed me with my baby, I couldn't stand d sight of my baby hungry and probably crying while I form shame I had to do d needful but giving due respect to my body and d baby not just flinging the breast, I take style cover my breast with d available handkerchief come still use hand support am and life goes on, no body die

At times I wonder this way, like is this not the same women that do try their best to cover their cleavage, but once they are married the feel less concerned about it.
Probably thinking that they have achieve their sole aim.
Hence I see no reason for such type of woman to see fault nor complain about her husband cheating.
I don't know of others, but to me I can't stand such, I mean what will entice me on bed?
