If the OP had listed the Igbo language and omitted Ikwerre then it makes sense but listing Igbo and Ikwerre as major languages spoken in Rivers isn't a true reflection of fact. The Igbo language on its own isn't a major language without say Ikwerre beside it.
But Ikwerre isn't the only Igboid language in Rivers state. Listing Ikwerre seperate from Igbo is probably because Ikwerre is the most anti Igbo igboid group out there. Never forget that we still have Etche, Omuma, Egbema, Ndoki and even Ndoni. These groups speak a variant of Igbo and would make Igbo a major ethnic group without Ikwerre. Apart from Ikwerre, the other major groups are Ogoni and all the variants of Ijaw (kalabar, okrika etc).

Igala is not a major language in Anambra. Only a few very small communities use Igala. And they're yet bilingual being able to speak Igbo too.

As for Enugu, Idoma is not spoken there. I only know of a single village in the whole of Enugu that speaks Igala.

Even in your link (even though it's a source you people ALWAYS CONDEMN AS LAGOS IBADAN EXPRESS MEDIA), here is what was written:

They belong to Ebonyi and NOT Benue.

Stop forcing yourselves on Benue state!! angry
Where is their present location?

You tend to be too much emotional over this but you can't change anything, so live peacefully with it.

Since when did Igbo become major language in Rivers. A language spoken only in Oyigbo and Egbema clan in Onelga is now a major language. See misguided report.
If you know rivers very well and know what language means, you will know that Igbo is the largest indigenous spoken language in Rivers.
Igbo and it's dialects are spoken in
Portharcourt lga
Emouha lga
Opobo
Ikwerre lga
Onelga
Etche
Omuma
Obigbo
Omuma
Obio/Akpor
Bonny
Ahoada East lga

Your attention is needed here. He’s saying they still are a major language in Akwa Ibom. Only God knows who is right among you two.
Igbo is not a major indigenous language in Akwa Ibom but there are minority villages where Igbo is an indigenous language.

Ikwerre is just one group in Rivers State, Ikwere is the single Biggest off all groups
The other Igbo/Igboid groups in Rivers Sate combined are bigger than the Ikwerre, so Igbos in Rivers is not all about Ikwerre.

That is not true

Nothing like Igala in anambra state.
Easy bro, Nzam is the headquarters of Anambra west and speaks Igala. That's why ABS sometimes broadcasts in Igala to carry them along but they are in extreme minority. Not sure they are up to 50,000 in population.

My dear, u are very correct about Umuezeokoha Ezza of Effium in Benue State as there are also Izzi people in Benue State. In fact, half of Izzi people of Ebonyi State are trapped in Benue and Cross River States.

I thought you will add Rotimi to amaechi's name? In Delta state, people from Itsekirri and Urhorobo bear Yoruba names. In Kogi and Edo states they bear Musa, Audu and Mohammed etc.

You probably don't know that an igala man has made it to Anambra State House of Assembly. Anambra Broadcasting Service ABS cast news in Igala and run programs in igala. There's a recognized Igala sociocultural group in Awka.

Anam, Otuocha, Omor, Ayamelum have a sizeable Igala population..

Ask questions!
What is the man's name and when did that happen?

Thanks, delpee. The Op tried but there are a lot of distortions and inaccuracies.
There are Gun people (mostly called Ègùn) in Lagos State and Ogun State. And where are the Jabas, Zango-Katafs, etc of Kaduna State?
I will advise all to sift the wheat from the chaff in this write-up. Peace.
