Haa! That's strict oh.... To each school sometimes their own rules, you can further ask your "International Office" reason for that. They sure will explain. Jayvallia: |

Dlaw6578: You can hold as much cash as you want. If you however have >10,000 GBP in cash, you must declare it. Cheers. |

I don't know why they are saying this and the individual rules of issuing a year visa. My partner got 2 years with two other friends (different universities). They worked part time, got placements (except one) and switched visas. At the end of the day, what is on CAS determines what UKVI will issue Cheers Jayvallia: |

justwise: This is new information to me. The last time I called home office, they said I couldn’t extend my visa in the UK if my new course date is longer than 28 days. Which means I’d have to go back to my home country and apply for a new visa. My current tier 4 expires on the 30th of this month and my course starts on the 6th of January. Does this mean I can extend within the UK then? |

Last time I checked that page too it was not like this but I tell you, UKVI changes rules alot. And yes this means you can change within because its within 3months of course start. Miele: |

Zoey1: Yeah the page has definitely been updated. I’ve attached a screenshot of the recently updated tier 4 guidance. S.78 clarifies things up a bit. So that means I can apply within the UK if I’m reading it right.

Good day house, please I will like to ask a few questions. I wish to go for studies in UK. 1. I have an elder brother in UK who has a company there, will that/he be of any advantage to my visa application? 2. If I get my visa, can my family(husband and a child) apply? Will my husband be able to work there? I mean SOWP, does UK have that? |

Obehi44: 1.Zero advantage 2. Yes your husband and child can apply together with you or after your visa is not, your husband can work in your brother's company but not like SOWP program |
