If na play, make you stop am! There are many career diplomats, who are well versed and knowledgeable about diplomatic affairs, in their '50s and '60s, that could have represented Nigeria abroad as the US Ambassador, and done a credible job.

After all, we have had ambassadors posted to the US before, who did well. I have a lot of respect for the retired Justice Nsofor, but he should not be subjected to the rigours of diplomatic service at the ripe old age of 84 years.

He should be at home, resting and writing his memoirs....

They are nurtured and for high profile nations you need highly experienced and connected diplomats.

There are many career diplomats with good experience in the Foreign Affairs ministry that lack good foreign postings. Go and check. Justice Nsofor is NOT a career diplomat!

Please which 'dirty' vast experience are you talking about? Justice Nsofor is NOT a career diplomat. He is just a retired judge of the Nigerian courts.

What they are doing to the old man is unfair, at his age. He should not be put under such glare and stress, at his age of 84 years.

We have many experienced, and younger career diplomats in Foreign Affairs ministry Abuja, that have not been given foreign postings, but are now sentenced to pushing papers around.
