If we are going in a different direction the style of the manager should be the number 1 factor.

We have already seen that appointing proven winners like LVG and JM is not a guarantee of a return to the glory days.

What we need is to get a manager who is still relatively young and plays the attacking style that we are traditionally known for.

The success (or failure) of this manager though will depend not on him but on the ability of the board to complete a quick and methodical upgrade of the squad within 1-2 transfer windows.

I have seen enough of OGS to see that in my opinion he is at best an average manager.

However I would prefer OGS to finish the season rather than another mid-season change. At the end of the season we can then make a change if deemed necessary.

Hopefully we either make top 4 (highly unlikely) or we miss out on Europe completely.
I don’t want Europa distractions next season.

Having said all of that the major changes have to be at board and organizational level. That is where the major problem is.

Even Pep had to chase out many players at City and bring in his kind of players.

Erik Ten Hag coaches good attacking football. Same with Tuchel and Nagelsmann.

I prefer the 2 Germans because i have watched them for much longer and seen them do it at multiple clubs.
