IYGEAL: How Much? |
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by davodyguy: 1:09pm On Oct 03, 2019 |
IYGEAL:Yesterday, they linked Digi Sport of Hungary. That Digi Sport used to be on 9e before they moved in 2016. But whatever they are doing is illegal. No other person can broadcast EPL and UCL in Nigeria, apart from Canal+ (French) and DSTV English and Sub Sahara |

ayobamizz:Yayi TV is not connected with TSTV, just the same satellite position (45 east). 12510 H 12500 = Yayi TV 1 & 2, Maah TV Africa 11556 H 30000 = Ghana channels (DTV1, CFTV, GOFTV, A.F.A SPORTS, 1990) TSTV all 4 frequencies are off |

davodyguy: Since they apparently aren't controlled by tstv, I think tstv is safe. |

Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by davodyguy: 5:47pm On Oct 03, 2019 |
IYGEAL: If they're are broadcasting on 45°E and not on TSTV's package, even though on same Satellite, then TSTV is safe, but if the frequency they're using is shared with TSTV, then DSTV can sue. Let's assume they're on 12345 V 27500 and some TSTV package channels are on same Transponder, then that's piracy |

Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by davodyguy: 6:12pm On Oct 03, 2019 |
abbeysattstv:You need to read more about Broadcast right and study the operations of Yayi TV. Some of us here have been hobbyists, tracking satellites and studying about them since the 90s. No other Satellite or Paytv package outside DSTV and Canal + can broadcast UCL in any part of Nigeria and the entire West Africa. Webtv or IPTV rights over NIGERIA is also controlled by DSTV https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/newsid=2398198.html Yayi TV within the last 2 days broadcasted through Satellite and web TV. Yesterday's show was from Digi Sport of Hungary for the Liverpool game, and they linked beIN sport for Barca game (those are two different PayTVs that should not broadcast in Nigeria under contents law) For the Dortmund game, they used Webtv and streaming. At some point, the buffering was obvious when network signal dropped. Ask what beIN sport did to TSTV in 2017 when they started their piracy at that time. The rights for the German Cup was withdrawn From DSTV and handed legally to TSTV sometime in 2019. Let's see what happens in the next 3 months. They may start and get away with it, but not for long if their source is not genuine. I wish them well 1 Like |

davodyguy: LOL, the price is quite high, but make thunder no fire am abeg. Maybe the price could go significantly lower if one negotiates with him; but I couldn't muster any energy to bargain because that's not my priority at the time (still isn't). Local welders/fabricators should be able to construct a good dish and it would be at a better price. But unfortunately they don't because there is probably no market for it, or they don't understand how it works - the technology. In years to come, I am sure I would invest in at least 4m solid BUD. |

Hello House, Please I need KU LNB for 3m dish. My installer says its #10k, how come? Is it a whole different from the normal Strong Universal LNB sold for #600? And can't I use the C LNB currently on the dish for tracking 9e? And I am considering buying actuator for my 3m dish? How much is actuator please? So I can negotiate when next we meet, in case I get a ridiculous price. One got to be spending wisely these days o! Thank You! |

Hello House, Please do I have a chance tracking with 3m dish on 19.2e with TP under the footprint below. I have an alternative for tracking 9e as suggested by someone here, but I just want to be adventurous if there is any chance? And not to waste my time if not going there at all? My location is Sango Ota. http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/footprints/Astra-1M-Europe-Wide.html http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/footprints/Astra-1L-Europe-Ku.html Thank You! |

Hi house, i bought this 2 in 1 lnb and installed nigcomsat. The problem is i cannot watch the two TV's at the same time one(4922) is always going off anytime the other one(4940) is on. what could be the problem? i suspect the lnb |
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by sauceEEP(m): 9:47pm On Oct 04, 2019 |
fhranchez:Check if you scanned the two boxes with same satellite, if they are the same then change it to either nilesat or astra then rescan. |
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by drandonzero(m): 10:12pm On Oct 04, 2019 |
fhranchez:Both decoders should be on channels with similar polarity, the LNB will not read different frequencies at once, it will read either one on horizontal and switch off the one on vertical, or vice versa |
Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by Ismy5000: 11:13pm On Oct 04, 2019 |
gmichael: Bros lnb that are higher than that are available. Though u don't know the Lnb he is buying. But bud lnb is different from normal lnb. And they are costly. Ire ooo. |
