Kog45: You have given us another outcome delivery of the complete and endemic failure of government. Tell me one sector in Nigeria that does not reflect the same symptoms. This problem exceeds football it is the Nigerian problem. I finished high school in Nigeria and for a brief period l worked in an accounts department in a tertiary institution in Nigeria at my Father's request. Corruption was endemic and rife l challenged it at great cost. In the end all the accounting staff were sacked apart from myself and the Chief accountant who in the middle of the night slaughtered a goat in satanic ritual. I left not long after that back to England, l could see that integrity and honesty were no longer attributes of commendation in Nigeria. On this thread there is in depth resentment to diaspora Nigerians and or so called Foreign born Nigerians. But why l am at loss. Meanwhile look at how our people take every insult under the sun, denigration and abuse to get a visa to leave the country. It's incomprehensible we show so much displeasure about foreign born Nigerians yet we want to get there. A Nigerian owned TransGlobim International won a £500 million contract to build a railway line in Iraq. But couldn't even get off first Base in his own country. Even to get an MOU was like almost impossible with all kinds of delays and unnecessary bureaucracy. We reject honesty and truth but welcome corruption, nepotism, illegality and government impunity. I watched how my former Governor after leaving prison was welcomed by the entire political elite at the highest levels. Do you know it is very much easier I mean. VERY EASY for me to become an MP in England. But the depth of depravity l would have to go through to become a state house of assembly selected and then elected makes it impossible for me. This problem exceeds football we need a change not of government but in ourselves. Until we change as a people we will get the rulers we deserve. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

tbaba1234: U are saying we should be picking up players of Nigerian origin that we believe (under assumption and guesswork) that will come good in the future and invite them into the national team... is that it? |

Watching Arsenal youth literally giving Standard Liege a total football lesson 4-0 still 30+ minutes to go. Don't think Baka will be playing they don't really need him today. 1 Like |

tbaba1234: That is ridiculous, you are trying to say that the NFF currently working on a player switch of four FB players is ignoring the most obvious, least costliest, least time consuming, highest-rated option in Eze I refuse to believe that, you need to have a proof 1 Like |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 9:50pm On Oct 03, 2019 |
Earthquake1: What will constitute proof for you? 1. Eze is not among those being worked on at the moment. A player whose switch is being worked on can not appear for another country till it is complete as per FIFA rules. Eze was in the last England under 21 squad. 2. Eze does not even need a switch as he has no competitive games. |

It's very weird. Time and time again, season after season I usually expect Arsenal to struggle against some of these teams in Europa. Rennes last season, an inform Standard Liege, Eintracht Frankfurt, Valencia, Napoli etc. HOW?!!! How does Arsenal absolutely roll over these clubs in Europe like they're Watford or Huddersfield, but yet they're actually not playing well ?!!!!! It's one of those few things I haven't understood in modern soccer till date. Is it the philosophy, approach to games, coaching, style of play? HOW?!!!!! |

komekn:I dont need to convince you to drive my point home. I have seen the both play and I prefer Osimhen to Tammy. The former is stronger, faster and more composed one on one with an opposing goalkeeper. And those are great attributes of a good goal poacher. 2 Likes |
