Good evening to y'all. Here is my first comment on this thread. I wholly support this twitter awareness idea but it must be backed with a relevant hashtag and we must tag relevant and influential people. I will suggest the hashtah #nnpcrecruitment2019 after every tweet and mentions. People to be tagged include but not limited to @nnpcgroup @MBuhari @BashirAhmaad @MKKyari @Omojuwa @adeyanjudeji @realFFK @toluogunesi and the handles of media organizations most importantly @channelstv and @NTANewsNow.

Some of these handles are for opposition members and some are for Buhari people. We should know how we are gonna tweet reasonably. The most important thing is the hashtag. We should agree and make a unifying hashtag. Twitter will help alot and we can proudly initiate this task from Nairalanders. We may not know anybody but our unifying voices must be heard. In times like this, Silence is not Golden.

In the midst of our anxiety and hope, as future leaders of this country I urge everyone reading this to take a deep breath and never forget the process we’ve been through, preparing for test, traveling for interview, waiting, praying, hope, faith, fear, disappointment, bittersweet, whatever feelings you may have towards this recruitment right now, and just make up your mind to be a better Nigerian to younger generations who will be in this same position in the next 10, 20 or 30 years who may not be from your tribe, religion or state and promise to be fair to them putting sentiments aside to make sure that no matter how busy we will be in power or position, that we don’t allow them go through the motions and delays we’re going through now because of politics. We really can do better to make life easier for the next generation.

i don't know why i think he had "dream" also. Lol

I’m not sure how long the training would be. If it’s for a month, then we can do it this year and resume proper next year January

Really some of you are extremely gullible. Also, you can't really be blamed too cos we as humans tend to easily believe what we want to hear. This is the sole reason people should stop peddling stupid lies just for popularity. Are you so lonely at home? People are obviously emotional about this job cos if it clicks it might change their lives forever. A low life, of all things to do will now capitalize on this by messing with people emotions. This is the kind of emotional emptiness only exhibited by 'yahoo' boys when they show no compassion for their victims. If you want so much attention go walk the middle of 3rd mainland bridge, you will trend for weeks. Stop capitalizing on innocent people who are only looking to better their lives. We shouldn't lose our humanity just for a few likes and shares on this platform. I didn't even apply to the nnpc job openings but insha Allah people expecting good new will definitely get it whenever it's time. Meanwhile don't stay idle cos you are waiting to be called by nnpc. Don't day dream about it. Get busy and make clean, good money for yourself. The day you least expect is the day you check your mail and you see that you have been informed to come get your APL. Don't overthink about it and in the process hurt yourself. What will be yours will never go beyond you, that I know about life. Nnpc yes, but without it life still goes on.

KDSG? Aren't they still at the 'shortlisting for aptitude test' stage?

I don't support the trending of any hashtags. This goes against decent behaviour. Remember that you can lose control of the narrative once it picks momentum. No one can tell how the tone of the campaign will turn once the public who are not currently at this stage of the recruitment join the campaign. Also, you'll be making yourselves ready casualties of the result of opposition party insults of the current government and NNPC.

I know people who were in NLNG recruitment from 2013 that lasted for 3 years at least! In the end the recruitment was concluded after a pro-longed period of silence. We haven't even spent up to six months since the final stage. So what's the hurry?!

I expect that it is GTs itching for this campaign. EHs surely know that a Twitter campaign would more likely hurt than help us.
