Lol, my G. At least some of us are on this educative thread to see what to expect. Imagine some applicants that would be called and they will face the reality of the situation only when they get to screening or training. God bless all the contributors of this thread. Gen. Ugo thanks a lot. You've opened my mind. I was to ignore my awaiting PhD. Scholarship at Auburn University, USA for this army before. But I now have a serious decision to make.

Good........you are a big man.....PhD, wow....am jealous and admire your educational pursuit..... Wish you success in all your endeavors bro

As long as not more than two teeth is missing and the hole in your teeth won't affect grip( because of grenade) you're good to go

Grip, because of grenade ....... Explain further.....so as to enlighten me and others

Guess that should be in the process of removing the safety pin of the grenade. But normally hand grenade safety pins are quite hard to pull using the teeth.

None is been deceived you guys are over emphasising on death and you are sending forth a negative image of the Nigerian Army making it look like is come and die.
There are Naval and AirForce officers in the battle field but nobody is over emphasising death is only on this thread that you guys keep talking about death.

please also do a research on men who have fought gallantly and have come out alive.

If the Nigerian Army was performing poorly as its painted here I don't think that Borno state will have any citizen in it.

My thoughts.

Don't mind them. they are talking as if the army is a death sentence.
1) They make it seem as if they are they are prepared to die so scaring others from death.
2) We don't go to war with the motive of been conquered but to return with victory.
3) I have naval SBS fighters who go to fight BH Fighters and still return back into encouraging people to join and add to the strength of the nation.
2) Every soul must taste death and some soldier's who don't go to war still die.

Most of you guys are confusing yourselves. Ugo4u is only telling applicants what’s really happening for them to understand what they are really going into. To avoid story that would touches the heart in the form of them dashing when duty calls

Private Military Contractors would be the best option to fight BH because they can't be comprise easily unlike the leakage of info within the NA. It is hard to fight and defeat an enemy within.

Private Military contractors are soldiers of fortune, they can easily be compromised because it's all about the money.
Using PMCs should be a short term project the regular army are the bastion of defence of any nation. Moreover it cost millions of dollars to employ the services of a PMC.

honestly if it's private military contractors that can help us teach this guys lesson we should let them on again. It took them 2weeks to kill thousands of those bastards then. Nigeria military is compromised already.

Agreed bro but with the way things are now I don't see the NA winning this war anytime my reasons are (1) The govt is not really transparent. (2) The northerners knows how to cover up crime very well so I am not really surprised if their people are supporting them (BH).

Disagree with your second point, they're the ones bearing the brunt of this crisis. Hundreds of thousands have being displaced some without hope of returning.

I was going through the documentary of how Nigeria army fought and defeated Biafra and I got to discover that one of the main reason the battle was won is that some lower tribes started giving info to the Nigeria army this type of stuff can't happen in the North that's what I mean by saying they know how to cover for themselves. Who is their food supplier, oh boy those guys they chill chop rice and stew steady.
One of the strategies NA use to defeat Biafra army is hunger, they blocked every form of food supply.

"So called?"
"Generals are clueless?"

Please let's be careful of what we post here even though the platform is a faceless one.

A "General" in the Army is not a small feet it is attained it is not given, the rank of a Lieutenant is given after completing certain training even the rank of Major is given to some DSSC officers after training but anyone who gets to the rank of a General is a successful military officer irrespective of how you see it.
We can't be aspiring to become officers and yet have outright disregard for senior military officers.
God bless you my brother, sometime, I will just read comments and laugh. With comments here sometime, I do think that if some of us get there, we might commit mutiny oh... Abeg, u guys should take things easy, army as an organization is cult that do not leak out sensitive information to the public, they will release few to the public.... Let be guided and God bless us all, meanwhile, God bless my fatherland .

Sometimes when I read my own comments and other people's comments, I feel the unwillingness but the desire, it seems as if we don't wish to go into the force but there's a force within us pushing us to join. The truth is even during my NYSC days, I worked as red Cross member and as an OBS. I prefer to lecture and train, with that I dodged all strenuous activities and matchings. I've always wished to and knowledge and bring people up to limelight of the little I know but I don't see myself in Sambisa fighting. Que Sera Sera

I've always thought the DSSC are for professionals while the SSC are for voluntary infantries. Now with what people have been saying here, it seems there's no difference between the two again and the difference is just on paper.
