Crs or ielts score?
When I started my research, I asked a question here and I was referred to page one. Honestly, I was angry but that helped me a lot. I also googled stuff, took screenshot of any vital information I know I will need in future. Nairaland and google became my shadow till I got all that I wanted.
Just try that, because answering this will still not give you enough information that you need.
I just started the process too.

@ bold, you don’t qualify for EE. Even if you go through the self-employed route, Uber driving is not NOC A,B or O.

protocol:
Hi elders in the house,
my name is Henry and for sometime now, I have been trying to kick start my EE journey but all to no avail , the more I read to start this, the more confuse I become.
Please I need your kind guidance to start this journey. My major concern is that I am 36 with bsc in insurance and have no work experience in the last ten yrs. I also have NEBOSH which i dont think is valued. I Currently drive on uber platform. I am looking at going the province way through EE if I am not mistaken.
Please is their anyway you can assist me figure out the right Noc to follow. How to know what MY POINT is.
I will be so greatfull if una fit help me on this notwithstanding una tight schedule. I tried using the CRS calculator and I landed on 391.
Thanks for una anticipated reply.

Yes i do, i also heard if you have a sure contact in school, the person can help with the sending and all. Don't know how true or reliable that is though.

I really want the transcript to be forwarded ASAP as i don’t want to do ielts without the evaluation . If you are in Lagos , I would appreciate if we can rub minds towards achieving our goals .

I definitely nominate Tina26 aka Iron Lady grin (Thatcher)
She is very knowledgable and these are her favourite emojis -[ angry ]
She has a firm hand too. If you ask basic "Googleable" questions, she might just delete you from nairaland. kiss

Just wanted to make a note here that just because your wife has a masters in social work from Nigeria does not mean she will automatically be able to practice in Canada o. She still has to have her degrees evaluated by Canadian Association of Social Workers. That can take up to 6 months and cost about $400. It would be wise to do it alongside the EE processing. I would advise she takes that into consideration so she doesn't get to Canada and be stranded.
Fiestafetta:
Good evening, please I'm making this inquiry for my wife. she told me that one of her lecturers while she was doing her masters in UI is advising her to go to Canada where her profession as a HEALTH SOCIAL WORKER is more lucrative and desirable but she wanted to be sure before she proceed with the process. she has bsc sociology 2.1 and masters in social work with good cgpa. please what are her chances? which steps does she needs to take first?

Good morning good people...
So I just took the second step in my plans to move to Canada by paying for WES... cry cry cry
God this thing is expensive o... Like one month salary 64K.

Anyway so I know I have to apply at my university for my transcript to be sent to them but I also saw something about sending my certificate...

Now my question is does it mean I have to make a copy of my certificate and send it by courier post to them or is it something that can be uploaded to the site.

Thank you all

please what is the process of the evaluation I.e. their sites or channel of doing such, and is she going to sit for their exams or what or just to send her degree?

You can fax your certificates to WES at zero cost, alot of people have done that on this platform. Search for hellofax on this thread and see the steps of doing that.

All the best in this Canny journey!

Dear PopularGingo,

Hope this meets you well.

Alberta sent me a Notification of Interest for their Provincial Nominee Program and I am currently filling the forms. I am not sure what answer to provide in some of the IRCC forms. Kindly help me answer the following questions.

1) In the 'APPLICATION DETAILS' section of the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008), what should I state as the category under which I am applying, Skilled Worker or Provincial Nominee? Please note that I have not yet been nominated by any province.

2) In the 'PERSONAL DETAILS' section of the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008), the 'UCI' field can only take 10 characters, but my UCI (CANxxxxxxxxxxxx) has 15 characters. Which characters should I include in the form?

3) I am required to fill form IMM 0008 Schedule 4: Economic Classes: Provincial Nominees, and one of the questions is "which provincial government has nominated you?" Given that I have no nomination yet, what should be my response?

Thank you in anticipation of your response.

Best regards.

I can update the hall of fame as I mark the scripts. Makes it easier. But if others have indicated interest and are active too, they can. That way the burden is shared. Either option works fine.

Good morning all. I'm sorry if this is a page 1 question but so far I haven't seen anyone who's had this experience. Please, can someone attach ielts, eca and notification of result in the education placeholder as MSC certificate is yet to be issued from unilag? I don't want this delaying her submission as ielts expires in 2 months time. Thanks for your responses.

The person that advised you is saying you should go through EE route as opposed to saks pnp.
Her age is ok.
Evaluate her masters which is her highest qualification by WES by getting her masters trsnscript sent to WES. While you are at it, both of you should study for ielts.
Both of you should write the ielts and create your profile once the Evaliation with WES( which cannot cost you more than 65k is ready) and your ielts result under EE. Express entry. Good luck
