Op you can't be tired of listening to "bad government" we are Nigerian and we both know the situation of this country. If Nigerians are truly smart we won't have an issue with bad government, if we were truly smart we can easily choose the right leaders but the honest truth is our smartness is diverted into stupid things and behaviors .... I do ask my self If the government are truly responsible for the misdeeds and the bad situation in Nigeria but the truth is they are not responsible....we are responsible for voting them in and since they used us as stepping stone they experience wealth, Security, happiness while we are the ones suffering. This reasoning is also one laced with certain greed, it's one of the many thinking that has kept Nigeria from moving forward; tribalism, religiosity, nepotism, favouritism, godfatherism and all the other isms, until Nigerians get to the level where leaders are voted in not because of all the above factors but based on his pedegree, worth, leadership values, leadership skills, abilities and all the other values that makes a worthy man to lead us to the desired land of prosperity and development, not based on sentiments but selfless leadership that can decipher between need and want. Until we miraculously ( I use this word cos its very unlikely we can achieve this) get there, things will continue to spiral downwards... we are all greedy yes but greed directed in the right direction can bring tremendous breakthrough.

You shouldn't expect much from a populace that celebrate BBNaija over cogent national discourse. Most youths won't go out on election days but would go any length to vote tacha and mercy of BBNaija. We aren't smart at all. We are the dullest globally and that shows from the kind of leaders leading us. Funny thing is that youths prefer to dance "gbese" and "zanku" than listen to news about happenings in their country. Ask an average Nigerian who the current CBN governor is. You will be so petrified to discover most of them don't even know. I don't count myself as a Nigerian again, I'm just a human being created by God through my parents.

Nigeria needs to be divided, it is not a nation. There is too much bitter completion between Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo etc. Then if the UN sponsors a treaty to restrict government to mainly income tax, everywhere will develop. Revenue or money is only as good as where it is gotten from.

If I tell you why you won't believe it.

However, the short answer is wrong language, wrong education, wrong God, fake country given us by foreigners. Those four aren't allowing us to be able to know ourselves. Its not allowing us to have our perceptions right, and without the right perception you can't get things right.

In other words, you can be smart but its really an illusion of smartness within the boundary of the language, education, and religion given us by foreigners. That's the real reason. Every other reason is a by-product of that.
