Danielnino00:How long will this last? And why can't they install a hybrid surface. I believe it is easier to manage as long it's well installed. |

Danielnino00: Maybe we can get the team to start playing on good pitches again, instead of this Asaba. |

Humility017: You don't believe in the millions of kids playing football in Nigeria that's why you are worried about a half caste kid that may change allegiance Do try to have belief in millions of Nigerian homegrown kids or go support the English national team |

andrew444:He doesn't really have to play. If you asked me, I would say he isn't fully integrated into the team since he's always off injured. Training with the team is key especially as we now have some young players in the team he isn't really familiar with. |

Clementoke:Plan A and B leaving both options open. Some of these guys don't make a decision at a young age so as to mess up their chances of good income and endorsements(Iorfa's dad mentioned something like this). WE all know how much being an "English youth international" carries. |

seankafor: What's the percentage of the population living under the poverty line. If 80 percent of Nigerians are poor, then majority of our players will be from the street. Most people who survive our football culture survive by sheer street strength, an ajebo parent would just move a promising kid abroad. Hardly can an affluent parent allow his kid to face the whole rigours of football. More so there is really nothing interesting in an ajebo story, not newsworthy. 1 Like |

Osimhen Subjected To Drug Test After Performance Against Chelsea In UCL Lille striker Victor Osimhen yesterday was made to undergo a random drug test after putting in an impressive shift which he crowned with a goal despite his team losing 1-2 at home to Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League, Owngoalnigeria.com reports. Osimhen headed a cornerkick home to draw Lille level and remained a constant threat all through the game with his all action play using his pace, power, skills and experience to against the defenders of Chelsea. After the game, the Nigerian was the only player picked from the team of Lille to be tested in the dope room but it’s unclear if his number was randomly selected or if he was picked by the medical team without the usual drawing of lots. ” We are not surprised that he was picked although we are not sure yet if it was through the drawing of lot system they normally use. However when you put in a performance like that you don’t expect the medics not to suspect you “, his representative jokingly told Owngoalnigeria.com. A cultured lad who is having the time of his life but his best is yet to come by the grace of God. This is just the start of something great for Victor, Lille and the Super Eagles “. 2 Likes |
