I see this case of poch as that of klopp. Klopp in Dortmund almost relegated them even after over achieving with the team the previous years. Same as poch now. At Dortmund, he(klopp) has only Bayern to contend with for the title, in England, poch have at least, 2-3 teams to contend with for the title (varying strength in leagues). When klopp almost relegated Dortmund, I'm sure you would still be one of those against his appointment then when he was available, but look at klopp now. Because of a bad season, and maybe players no longer in tune with his tactics again (same as klopp final season in Dortmund), maybe the reason for his struggle, that doesn't negate the fact that if he comes to man u, he would struggle here too. I mean, you guys have the structure and finance for poch to succeed here. I won't write poch off and I'll advice you not to also.
Another case is Leicester (Brendan Rodgers), but I won't go there.

Well Poch has never relegated a team as far as i know. And actually has a style of play. Also has a good record developing young players and has reached the CL final. What can Ole point to?

Never said the CL final was a title. Its definitely better than anything in Ole's managerial career. I don't think you can compare the standard in Norway to the CL or premier league. Poch isn't perfect and I'm not even saying he's a great manager. I might have exaggerated that earlier but he's better than Ole and has proven it.
