He'll be stupid to keep waiting for France
He's 25 already and last played international football 3 years ago. He should take the leap if Ivory Coast calls.

This Sebastian Haller is eligible for Ivory Coast. Make Dem claim am naa... Bia Chriskels... You no fit recognise your own again? I know you have the numbers of the Ivorian FA top dogs. Make una collect Haller because I don't think that France Call-up may come for him... Lol grin

He will eventually come around to be flanked by Zaha and Pepe.

In a different gist, there is something I av noticed about our kenke bredas. Those guys don't bother themselves over foreign borns. Did u know dey never fought for Depay, Odoi, Eddie Nketia, Ethan Ampadu etc. Their FA never made any swoop on those guys

Uhmmm... Francis Uzoho just conceeded again and Omonia are down 2-1 away at Pafos. It could go down as their first loss of the season if the result stays this way. 88mins played.

Lol... Why would they bother? They stand and stood no chance of landing them naa. But Nketiah can be theirs with time if his England dream fails to see the light of day. As for Hudson Odoi Dem no get hope.

An attack of Pepe-Haller-Zaha could be something no doubt. Time shall tell.

Forget the overhyped stats, I saw the match myself, there was nothing special about Wilfred Onyinyechi Ndidiamaka. Stats be like the mini skirt of hot sexy babe, it doesn't tell the whole story

Your perception.. I saw the match as well, the stats is not far from what I saw.. My view cool

Okay. Uzoho and Omonia fall 2-1 away too Pafos in Cyprus. This is their first loss and their next game comes up after the International break against co-league leaders and his former side, Anorthosis Famagusta.

Guys in the end it's a matter of the heart. I am Nigerian and also British. Had I been a player in a position to pick between playing for either country there is no way on earth I will be as happy banging in goals for England as I would doing it for Nigeria. My heroes are Yekini, Finidi, Okocha etc...

Now...my cousins are dual nationals as well and they will rather wait to play for England until they retire then even think of playing for any other country. Their heroes are Lineker, Gascoigne, John Barnes etc. I don't judge them it's just the way it is...

My son is only 6 years old and as much as I try to make him realise we are Naija first and British second he is naturally more aligned with his British side, from his mum, school, neighbors etc if in the future he was a football player I honestly feel he will be happier playing for England. Who knows eh
The problem is that we judge people too stringently for their choices without having understanding of the nuances and the cross currents of events, people, places and numerous factors that underpin their decisions.

True that shaa.... Well that is the Ghana FA's problem. Besides, they have bigger issues to handle since Anas hit them hard for corruption scandals. The Ghanaian FA hasn't been the same since then.

Taking an unfit Ebuehi is not only a waste of money, but a waste of OPPORTUNITY

What happened to increasing your pool of RBs with this injury?

The basis for selection is consistent outstanding performances in your club and league.

So where are these outstanding RB 's you are talking about?? ❓

I used the term outstanding so in that context please inform and educate us please.

when did Rohr say this? And since when did the National team become a place to develop young talents? And how many 'young talents' are in this NPFL?

Rohr's job is not for any young talents. They can apply in the U-20 or U-23 if it is development they want. Senior national team is for established talents
Local players dem era has passed. Let kog45 come tell us what it looked like during the 80's. From the 90's with the crop of Amokachi, Oliseh, Babayaro and others, Nigeria transitioned to using foreign based players and has not looked back.

Local players are simply not just good enough. This is the reality. But instead of going for the best, we would bring in sabotaging criteria like 'we must have local league players in the NT', very much the same way we use stupid criterion of tribe and religion to select leaders.

"So long as he's from my tribe, I no care." This is how most Nigerians think. A Nigerian would rather vote in a thief from his tribe and religion than a sound and astute technocrat who is of a different ethnic and religious stripe.

Local league players no good, dem no just good. They have been tested many times and they have failed abysmally. There's something deficient in them that makes them fall short of the intelligence required in today's game.

please direct your question to the NPFL stakeholders it is not Rohr's fault that the league is undeveloped....
it is not rohr's duty to help develop your league...

the man has a reputation to protect...
he is not like our indigenous coaches who can swiftly bow to pressure and some who can do anything for the sake of their pockets...to include the mediocre players from the NPFL...
even Basco who is a supporter and more knowledgeable about the NPFL will not say this words you put up there...

you see that Portuguese under 23 league...it is better organized than your NPFL tbh and it is not rohr's fault....

develop your league...cry out to private individuals, develop a map route to making the NPFL a reputable league.... and channel it to policy makers... I can help you on that if you want.....
but coming here telling Rohr to pick players all because of sentiments holds no water....

I have worked in the private sector all my life and I have come to understand that what makes many private companies especially foreign owned thrives better than public agencies is because of the emphasis on the key world "competence" and not "sentiments"
people.should be called up because they can deliver and not because of sentiments.

please allow us enjoy Rohr's tenure in peace.
Sound talk.

David Nwokolor is well known here. Played at NK Vitez in Bosnia at some point. Played at SKF Sered last season on loan from HNK Rijeka and is yet to feature for Rijeka this season. He has no case for now Biko.

Samuel Kalu missing came as a shock to me. I think he may be nursing an illness or knock.
