madenigga: Yeah, I am aware you ave to go collect a form from the embassy to get your money back which is quite ridiculous. I am also considering the UK too and willing to make the switch ASAP I don't mind waiting a year or some months. It's just that tuition for my programme (Visual Effects or digital effects) is crazy and not so many scholarships for it. But then again I am hearing about something else people are applying for that just opened in the UK -- exceptional talent visa (Tier 1) |

Guys pls this AD wahala is getting serious o. As I’m trying to rebook without canceling just to know if my booking is still active which it seems it is since July. Means my data wasn’t purged right? I’m just afraid I used October 1 as start date I guess cos there’s no place to input enrollment deadline. Till now no date o. What should I do? Should I cancel and rebook. |

@All This thread has to move on now without derailing and for those who are still interested in carrying on with the back and forth should open a separate thread preferably outside this section. 5 Likes |

If you used October 1st as start date on that embassy booking portal how do u expect date wen we are already on 5th of October.... Let's us be reasonable and frank with ourselves... Please my brother it's either you defer your admission to summer or seek enrollment extension to January next year so u can cancel ASAP and rebook with later date. mcpapillo: |

@just wise i plead with you to forgive Sassy. She did let her guard down at some point though. I hope the younger minds here are not taking this issue personal or taking sides. You needed to put your foot down as some issues should not be discussed here. We need to learn not to abuse processes because doing so will be detrimental to others and those coming behind. There is a reason behind legitimately obtained SL and BA by the German authorities. Let us not make a straight forward process difficult with our tongue. I have benefited from her to be honest when i needed guidance on AD for my nephew. Please have mercy. Thank you. 1 Like |

Immafrank: Do you know, if you already have a BSC., and you are vying for another, you could email the school, or the course coordinator of the course, to see if you could be considered for a higher semester entry this summer. I emailed 4 schools, FHWS included, in that regard and their responses are positive. 1 Like 1 Share |

evergreen9:There are universities offering the course. Do not focus on that course alone. It's relatives, also english taught, are offered in many Deutschland uni. |

As someone in Germany has advised that no age limit for studentkolleg admission, i will also advise that you package ur qualification very well, put all your educational qualifications with transcripts in one pdf and start sending mails to your intended courses coordinators. If you have related work experience in your intended courses get a letter from that employer maybe a recommendation or reference letter stating the duration of your experience with the organization stamp and attach it too. Send a mail of admission inquiry and ask them to review your documents for possibility of getting admitted..Most of them will give u a response that will guide u whether to continue the application or follow the studentkolleg... Hope this helps! Cheers... nunamyeong: 1 Like 1 Share |

mcpapillo: This situation seems like its a total mess right now! I have booked and cancelled twice, my recent booking was done on August 14, I used December 16th as my date, I hope something good happens this month. I have already funded my BA, I don't know if I should send the proof / confirmation to the embassy maybe that might show seriousness on my part IDK. |
