and what makes libra a threat is that facebook already has its market for the scheme , imagine even 600million ppl out of over 1billion users of facebook using this libra money service without any government monitoring and scrutiny
helinues:

Other cryptocurency can work but not Libra..

Facebook has payment platform but only few people make use the of it.. That flops

The facebook itself, apart from personal use, if you have a Facebook page, you will understand how greedy and selfish Mark is..

Their loss in the long run! Cryptocurrency may not completely replace traditional currency, but will come close to it within the next 5-7 years especially with the incoming duo of Facebook's Libra and Telegram's Gram.

Lol, the coping mechanism on this one.

he even took his own further , imagine ppl sending and receiving money without having financial institutions know about it , eg just log into ur facebook in nigeria and send money to anyone on the world or receive ? many financial institutions will collpase, terrorists will most likely use it , etc
This is what we are hoping for in the future.. To send money directly to someone without passing through a third party like financial institution

More reasons why I will be in interested in the cryptocurrency. Paypal is a very prejudicial and racist organization. They make life very difficult for Nigerians to do international business even when a huge junk of global scam and organized fraud is majorly run by Americans, Eastern Europeans and Asians. They still operate in those countries yet deny Nigerians access.

While others are promoting global financial inclusion they institute financial exclusion. To hell with paypal.

Anyways check my signature for reliable DNA investigation.

Thats what is going to happen. Their only problem right now is how it will be regulated. Switzerland has already welcome them and are presently drafting regulations.

1500 others are already waiting to replace entities like paypal.

Only the United States Government can stop Libra .

Libra is a very big threat to PayPal and could reduce its fan base when launched

Libra will be a stable coin and it will go through so many regulations.. It will not be like Bitcoin that is too volatile

As for US, let's wait and watch their stance on it

Zuckerberg wants to own everything,

Imagine Facebook Dating site, Facebook digital currency, Facebook Giftcard

Magu and EFCC wont like this collaboration atall atall

Paypal is too close with US government and western powers for my likeness, they basically help US , when it was annouced that indian programmers and freelancers are getting a very huge chunk of software freelancing contracts world wide, Paypal stoped opreation in india giving silly excusses, same way they wont enter Nigerian market even as we remain second largest economy in Africa, they kept giving filmsy excusses

I trust Zuckerberg to rise above the western bullies, just like his space x satelite that was to provide free facebook to africans sudenly crashed and he started all over again, am sure he wouldnt stop his libra plans over some western bullies

If not for Zuckerberg being Jew, unlike the useless american Paypal, Nigeria wouldnt have being included in any social media, they would simply block our I.P or remove Nigeria from the registration form, or make it premium without accepting Nigeria Debit Card

....

so much emotions in one post, and is not good for business analysis.

PayPal, always standing as a roadblock to the service that wants to bring financial service to the less developed countries.

I don't know why they have not allowed Nigerian PayPal to accept and withdraw money to user bank account?

I get your point that PayPal is too pro Western governments, but removing a country from your social media platform is an act of foolishness as a business venture which Facebook is. That will deny them access to arguably the largest market in Africa, about 200 million people!

DrugXpert:
I hate anything crypto

Crypto as the name implies is one of the latest medium of money laundry, tax Invaders, sales of hard drugs online etc this is the reason the FBI some years ago closed down the popular Liberty Reserve, the founder was arrested and jailed, Liberty Reserve was been used by notorious drug Barron's for exchange of services.

you know back then, myspace limited what nigerians could do on thier platforms and other social sites basically blocked Nigerian I.P, until Facebook came and made it accesible to us and tottally free... even before zuck bought whatsapp, you had to pay for premium services after a year or so, and snapchat that isnt owned by zuck rejects some low end andriod devices and accepts all apple devices, while zuckerbergs Instagram accept almost all devices and web browser
