Sorry for the long post.
DELAY IS NEVER DENIAL!!!
This is not PPR it’s IELTS victory. Finally after multiple trials IELTS HAS FREED ME!!!
I started ielts August 2018 passed all but reading JJC I didn’t know the techniques for reading and I didn’t finish had 6. So I wrote immediately and that’s when writing started showing me pepper. Everytime 6.5 or even 6 with computer based. Finally after falling short in writing again by June 2019 I cried and cried. I’m a lawyer for Christ sake I have written harder exams what is this?? Finally nairaland directed me to the magnificent JOHNNYBRAVO. Woke up this morning prayed again and when I got to the office collected a white envelope opened it and saw 7 in writing!!!! Jesus I almost screamed in their office.BYE BYE IELTS. Pool here I come with 472!!!!
Congrats o. I really have no idea who you are really. Can you chat me please?

if you are single your crs should be 427 then . Get an extra degree or qualification it rises to 460. Who knows , an noi might come while on it. Its better to act than be hoping. Every one below the crs is also hoping for noi from anywhere

Nope, it doesn't affect your application.
It is optional.

You have age, work experience and IELTS boxes checked. Good job on that.
An extra degree is all you need to put you in a very favorable position.

I created the EE profile a few hours ago, checked the status and it still says 'transmitted'. Does anyone know what this means?

Prettiepearlz:

The help center on the CIC website says otherwise. Please find below screenshot. You are right about the CEClass but it also says other applicants are required to proof settlements fund unless they are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada. Also because the system currently requires all applicants to provide proof of funds, applicants who do not need proof of funds must upload a letter of explanation that they have either been invited under the CEC or that you have a valid job offer. That’s how I read that. Please explain if I am reading it wrongly.

Under FSW. People with NOC C and D can get PR through AIPP or the rural and Northern Immigration pilot. But it takes a lot of hard work and determination as this requires getting a job from a designated employer.

You have the following options to get two or more certificates.
1. CIMA certificate in Business Accounting 4 modules, MCQ/OBJ, exam can be scheduled all round the year and you get your result after each exam.
2. BCS certificate in IT 3 modules, exams organised two times a year, March and September
3. Unilag HRDC 9months 2 semesters
4. A post graduate diploma (I won’t you advice you to do this as age is no longer on your side)

That’s all I can remember for now. Others will contribute.

None But in my opinion, it’s advisable to apply as accompanying since you will and must provide proof of funds for the number of family you have which means the unaccompanying spouse and the kids (if any). So what’s the point of proving all that and still go through the one year stress of sponsoring a spouse over? Why not apply as accompanying? The unaccompanying spouse can do a short landing, get the PR card and then head back to Nigeria

Dear PopularGingo,

Hope this meets you well.

Alberta sent me a Notification of Interest for their Provincial Nominee Program and I am currently filling the forms. I am not sure what answer to provide in some of the IRCC forms. Kindly help me answer the following questions.

1) In the 'APPLICATION DETAILS' section of the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008), what should I state as the category under which I am applying, Skilled Worker or Provincial Nominee? Please note that I have not yet been nominated by any province.

2) In the 'PERSONAL DETAILS' section of the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008), the 'UCI' field can only take 10 characters, but my UCI (CANxxxxxxxxxxxx) has 15 characters. Which characters should I include in the form?

3) I am required to fill form IMM 0008 Schedule 4: Economic Classes: Provincial Nominees, and one of the questions is "which provincial government has nominated you?" Given that I have no nomination yet, what should be my response?

Thank you in anticipation of your response.

Best regards.

1. Skilled worker class.
2. Leave it blank as you do not have a UCI at the moment. UCI reflects after your biometrics.
3. Alberta. The forms are used as part of your post ITA documentation.
