If you want to appeal a case in the regular courts, won't you part away with legal fees?

It's not as if he will go there to defend himself on his own, he will also need to hire a lawyer in that field, which will cost money
A 100k dollars is too much IMO

Eze should be called pls....
Rohr should just do this for us

I think its the paperwork that's the issue.

Let's try and make do with what we have for now pending when issues are resolved

Elyte89 is right. Chukwueze can do no wrong to many here. Just a common header generated so much Hullabaloo. Something an average defender does everyday. Wonders shall truly never cease.lol

According to what i read, chukwueze error lead to osasuna second goal, but nobbody stated it here, thou i also didnt watch the game

If its another player that did error, so many of them will use it against the player just because he is not their favorite

According to report, Sia1 needs to pay 100k dollars before he can file an appeal with FIFA and we all know how he struggled to free his mum from kidnapper's captivity

How much does the arbitration cost ?
The ordinary procedure involves paying the relatively modest costs and fees of the arbitrators, calculated on the basis of a fixed scale of charges, plus a share of the costs of the CAS.

The disciplinary cases of an international nature ruled in appeal are free, except for an initial Court Office fee of CHF 1000.-. Don't think it will be up to that amount stated.

Yes the second goal was his error, not totally though going by the pace Osasuna was fighting every second ball. So he got marked quickly and dispossessed off the ball. Well the rest is history, even Raul Albiol made a powerful blunder and the gk was there to save the 1-on-1.
Osasuna wanted the game more as they battled for most second balls from Villareal last night. So many things went wrong for them last night, Anguissa, Toko Ekambi, Chukwueze (was lost in the second half), Moreno and this former Leicester man were not clicking no good pass. Osasuna took matters into their hands in the second half hence the score line.

abroadian is anybody that lives in the abroad, usually born and bred.

Were you are born can influence you to a great degree, but the BIGGEST INFLUENCE possible is your parents if they they play their role correctly.

I was born in the UK and l went to Nigeria for the first time when l was 11. Before l became too Oyibo according to my Father and off to boarding school in Warri I was despatched.

I am not Ibo, but l speak Ibo l understand and speak my language as well. I have a workable understanding of Yoruba very basic though.

My cultural identity is entirely Nigerian but l can be multi faceted. When I'm with oyibo you would think i am a lost son. Often l hear Nigerian talking about me thinkibg l dont understand what they are saying sometimes derogatory. That's very amusing when l then speak Ibo or Yoruba to them.

When l reach Warri you may think that na complete area I be.

So am l still an Abroadian

There are Nigerians who were born and bred in Nigeria predominantly the women. Some from small towns and villages.

On arrival they become more oyibo than the Oyibos denying all things Nigerian within a few weeks in the UK. Are they not Nigerian born and bred

Something to think about its not so simplistic.

Nigeria international forward Moses Simon was once again the match winner for French Ligue 1 side Nantes as his well placed header earned them a 1-0 win over Nice, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.

The Nigerian took a vintage position in the box of Nice to head home what ended as the winner with five minutes left to play in the game where the win moved them up to second on the log.

Simon who is on a season long loan deal to Nantes from Laliga side Levante has already bettered his last season record where he found the back of the net once in 19 games, he has two in just seven games this season.

Known for his pace, skills and pin point crosses his somersault celebration has already won over the fans of Nantes who view the 24 year old as a player who can help them achieve their dream of playing in Europe next season.

Account name "Siasia fans ventures", Hmm....I hope someone isn't trying to cash out with Siasia's misfortune.

But then, why should FIFA punish Siasia first before giving him the opportunity to defend himself?. I thought the accused remains innocent until proven guilty in court? How come Siasia was accused, tried and convicted in absentia and without his knowledge?.

This is why I said I like players whose skills were cooked on the streets and I have decried the aridity of modern football which for me is pass, pass pass. They have educated the flair out of the game. I don't like it but this is what the game has become.

That's not true.

In Liverpool they brought in a former Brazilian assistant coach of Sao Paulo. To head the development of the U12, because in thier opinion after 12 skill can no longer be natural and first instance.

The U12 development is based essentially on how long you can keep the ball and how many Peopleton cam beat with skill trickery and technical ability.

So you are wrong. Thay approach is adopted by quite a few academies in the UK.all to different degrees.

Let me use your last line to press a point.

The bolded right here is where the problem of our football stems from. Street football cannot fly in this era. Football is now an intellectual exercise. That's why academies have taken over. It is not for nothing that this era is tagged the era of the coaches.

Many European greats like Puskas, Eusebio, Cruyff, etc honed their skills on the streets but as usual oyibo man will not rest and will keep refining the system. Thus from the mid 80s academies began popping up in this countries and now they are everywhere.

Even Brazil does not rely on street anymore.

Imagine going for a competition involving the intellect and just because in the past everybody brought street to the competition, you continue to do so even now while your competitors bring in people trained in academies. Omo dem go win una tire.

I like street football oo, very much. I even prefer it but the reality is that that era is gone.

I get your point. But before those kids get to the age of attending those academies nko? Where do they develop their skills? Where do 3-5 year old kids develop their skills?

Because they wrote to Him more than once to come and defend himself, but guy man didn't show up. Maybe that's why he was convicted in absentia. Even in regular courts when you are summoned and you didn't show up, they can give judgement without you being there, and most times, the judgement won't favour you

as a child you need a little bit of stubbornness. Parents may have good intentions but they are not perfect.

Do you know Emmanuel Amuneke's father was always coming to chase him home from the field with a cane in his hand?

Emma used to hawk bread, and what such parents wanted was when you are through with the set you went to hawk come home and take more. But Emma would rather hang his tray somewhere and join other boys to play footie. grin

The streets are more important than any single academy. There are things you learn on the streets that can't be thought by even Pep Guardiola. You can only take so much of what you learn at academies on the pitch but you will always need street smarts and you will always need toughness. They don't teach you that at academies.

We have a collective voice here. And each person’s opinion is worth 2 cents. Nothing more. Those who watched the game should come here and say what happened. People have their favorites and may ignore, but don’t castigate them when your membership here is at the same level as theirs. We are talking as if there is some highly esteemed class here whose voice matter more. This is not true. This is a faceless thread, your voice counts as much as mine.
