Agbalowomeri:@Agba is CORRECT! You don't build higher TF from lower TF. Technically, HTF dictates LTF directions. |

BullBearMkt: https://www.investopedia.com/articles/trading/07/timeframes.asp Carefully read. Note the point where the end of the pullback was not seen on the daily and the writer explained that going into 60mins timeframe showed the end and subsequent upturn. |

BullBearMkt: If a stock is completely ravaged. How can a 52 weeks high be gotten without going from a daily highs, weekly highs, then monthly highs? How do you get 52 weeks high from 52 weeks low? |

RabbiDoracle:...the article you provided is even clear about which TF is the dominant one. Well, to be safe in TA HTF dictates the direction |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 5:47am On Oct 06, 2019 |
BullBearMkt: And if there is going to be a change in the trend, do you still bet in the direction as shown in primary TF? Remember, people here said it is the daily TF that is important. Now you have read where switching between TF can be helpful to spot points of reversal. That was the point I tried to explain to Agba all along. But he termed it as Forex knowledge being applied to Stocks. Wetin I sabi? |

onegentleguy: I keep smiling from the side line when I see that some persons fall for the 'set out plays' to give up on their holdings in UACN !! Meanwhile the smart and WISE ones have been mopping them up. ...including but not limited to those in the 'NSE room' I know its only gonna be a matter of a small time before those who sell off their stakes begin to read the many script of lamentations !! I like the saying; "For every seller, there is a buyer... the future will prove which one of them had made a mistake." We are here. Btw, we acted out on the part in bold on Friday and hope to still do much more !! ...so to those selling off their stakes in UACN, pls sell more !! For without u, we can not BUY more. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Uchetoba: 9:44am On Oct 07, 2019 |
This UACN thing will be like what happened when UBA was devesting from Afriprud, Ucap & Afriland property. About 2 weeks to the day they were going to allot the shares of the three companies for free to investors, the price of uba started crumbling very fast from over N7 to around N4.5. When I saw the price at 4.5 I quickly sold all my NEM at N0.8 cause I but the NEM at N0.55, so I plunged all the money into UBA not knowing what was about to happen lukily for me that was about two day to the D day. About three days after buying I saw that the price of uba started ralling and I also noticed that two new companies has been included in the price list and the two are also ralling. To cut the long story short, I later called my then analogue stockbroker to send a copy of my cscs stmt of acc to my email, they did and I saw afriprud and ucap in my cscs stmt then I called my stockbroker for explanation then they told me those were giving to me by uba bc cbn had told all banks to divest from their non banking subsidiaries. Later again I checked my P.O Box and I also saw the share certificate of afriland property. Those that sold there UBA before the D day I'm sure they cried HAD I KNOW. Please let them continue to sell their UACN I havn't bought enough. I even need it to fall to like N4 so that I can buy more and more b4 the D day. |
