Hausa/Fulani are focusing on preserving their culture. They are in discussion about making Hausa first language in North above English. Everything about them is finding ways to preserve their African heritage. In South we see our language, religion, culture as liability. We strive at all opportunities to Westernize.....foreign culture is valued as an asset by Southerners. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

ChaleeBendel: Their strong cultural identity is why they hold political advantage in Nigeria. They abhor Western values....even amongst their most educated. Look at Indians, they were also colonized, like Nigeria...correct? They speak a non Western language, practice a non Western religion, dress in non Western styles. They demonstrate culture....but that has not immuned them to social challenges. Arabs, you will be shocked at the number of Arab graduates from US and UK. They do not practice Western values. Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong.....all places indoctrinated and colonized by English but after independence they returndd to their ways and abandoned foreign language and religion. Hausas in North are discussing going that route with language. In the South we compete on who is more foreign and Westernized. Now with BBN we compete for who is more pro-Western in behaviour and swag. pro-Western has goods and bads. We copy the bad and turn it to our mainstream....a model, an exemplary, fed to young people....a model of what they should aspire to be. A dream! 5 Likes 2 Shares |

ChaleeBendel: There is also a tactic used at diplomatic level to dominate a political landscape. Dominate in the sense that you can shape the destiny of your competitors if you have free access to their society. Nigeria leads politics and commerce of Africa. MTN is SA owned. BBN is a syndicate owned by SA. They also own DSTV. SA can disrupt Nigeria's leadership as a front runner in the Continent by socially engineering our mindsets and perception of ourselves through these three inputs into our economy. At the diplomatic level you have espionage and sabotage. Espionage is collecting information to use in formulating a best sabotage to deploy and exploit targets. Each year more people are tuning in to BBN. People protested maltreatment of Tacha but none will protest maltreatment of villagers wiped out and raping of women by herdsmen. Its a dumb-down tactic. You separate people from their own conscience and make them accept your doctrine on tv as a better alternative of comfort and wellbeing than protesting crime.....even with knowledge that they are likewise a target of the criminal. They cant help it....you have succeeded in separating what they need to assess and prioritise self survival. The next step is to turn them to a franchise of your doctrines...whatever you choose to download into their brain, they have no choice in it. The faculty that makes choice has been separated from flesh. Next BBN will have even more viewers and subscribers....tuning in and voluntarily submitting themselves for spirit-matter separation. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Binikingdowm: I am Yoruba. You are panicking over nothing. The question raised is a social one. The response i gave is a social one. Its left to reader to pick his truth through them. Perharps you have never seen my posts in politics section when i descend on Fulani. Follow me and you will witness it one day. I have nothing against Hausa, they are the worse victims out of all victimized peoples in Nigeria. 2 Likes |

To that metaphysical guy 'Hausas are no longer praticing their culture even to the extent of not calling God in their native language, What you see them do and what they pratice now is Arab culture and Arab language. Although the Arab they try so much to copy are miles away from them in terms Western education, technological innovation and many other things... Hausas are the only tribe who have lost their ancient mode of dressing and ancient way of life to ISLAM and ARAB. 3 Likes |
