I must confess I've gained a lot from seniors here as per the hustle. May God bless us all.

I'm a young graduate looking forward to serve in Ibadan, Oyo State...

I just want to use this medium to register my presence here as an ardent follower who has been following this thread for almost a year now, who wishes to enter the business sooner or later.

Honestly, I've been looking at saying bye to this hustle unless destination trips.
The hustle is becoming harder with less returns.
Bolt increased her commission to 20%, Uber 20 trips to enjoy 3%.
Two weeks ago, I was on my 13th Uber trip on Thurs evening when a stupid guy hit my car so bad in traffic. Got the car back from the workshop on Sat evening so the 13 trips were done for Uber just like that.
I mostly do 4-5 days weekly or less sometimes so Uber's 20 trips doesn't cut it for me.
Na to face bolt for now (Uber for repositioning) till God answers my prayers.
This hustle is very demanding. Shout-out to guys working about 15 hours/6days weekly

Please I am about to invest into this Uber business (cos I heard its a good business grin). However I have questions plaguing my mind and would love to get answers.

Can I get a uber approved car with tracker on a budget of 1.5M? Also, how easy will it be to find a trustworthy driver? Also, whats the WORST amount that can be delivered on a bad business day? Please, I need pointers and advice.

You may be in for a long ride if you can't drive the car yourself. It's a business that is unpredictable. I do not advise anyone to cough out millions for Uber if you can't drive it. It's a ridiculous investment and not worth it. On another note, get a cheap car that is less than 900k and gamble on that, if you must give it to a driver. Best of luck.

Meanwhile as you serve the Nation, develop yourself and look beyond ehailing, get the needed skills, acquire certificates on courses that will enhance your chances and make way for you. If you don have the finance.... Learn a trade while you serve. Me self might not be here by the time you'll finish your device to mentor you, but stay with the advice I gave.

I did a research about the car, Heard it fuel economy is super but the word out there is Volvo dey get electrical problems. The folk I asked is a mechanic that repairs Toyota so what do you expect, but I heard Volvo technicians/mechanic are found around ido area, don't know how legit that is.

Cc Mrjaydee how about the parts? The legs,shocks etc and head lamps. Are they cheap to replace
