However, it looks like you and Lionlee216 were lucky to get the ones who were able to petition the green card for you without any stress.

A family member that I know has been married to his educated AA for almost 5 years and she has refused to petition the green card for him.

Without stress? Yes but with alot of sacrifice.. Remember the very first time she came to visit, When she was leaving, we went to the gas station together, gave me her card to put fuel in her car but instead used my cash to fill up($45). She was surprised. Me was like "no big deal". If you know how many times i got on greyhound bus to visit Chicago ehn, but it is well.

Your family member made a mistake and no one is above mistake. If I'm dating you and you hiding your DL, your debit/credit card, w2 etc then i know something is wrong. Trust is very important. I remember when i stylishly ask for her debit card to buy something from the store. The way "they" respond determines how you deal with them.. Even before we got married, the paperworks were already filled, post dated and signed. After marriage, got marriage certificate and sent paperworks...

Yea I have met AA women of various of levels and most had nothing good to say about nigerian men . I remember when Tamar Braxton got with her nigerian boyfriend , they’re we’re multiple comments bashing him because he was Nigerian and the reputation that nigerian men have .

How will you rate the Ghanian Americans here.. ?There is this lady who is one of my pre med students ( I take recitations for a physics course). She calls me often and regards my advice so well. The first time she saw me, she knew I am a Nigerian. Today, I wasn't in class for the recitation, and she called me to know why and told me that she had to quit her mum's call, to call me...I haven't told her nothing yet because I am quite wary and still observing her...
