Whoever they are that is sponsoring this evil and the perpetrators and their generations will pay for their sins.
Amen,it's very sad that things are going this way but people are making political gain out of it,instead of joining hands to fight this issue to the logic end.
Nigerians are not ready to end the war yet. If not, all could have been at the neck of the Western powers to stay clear of sponsoring the war against terror in Nigeria.
Imagine Nigeria requested for weapons from USA, having paid #460+bn and they gave us a dateline of 2021 for the weapons to be delivered!
But they are fighting a political war in Syria and other eastern countries! They sponsored terrorist group in the middle east and they are now a threat to African countries from Libya, Somalia, now Nigeria, chad,Niger and Cameron not forgetting B.Faso. The terrorist group know that the military power in the African countries are poor that's why they have a safe haven there.
It may interest you to know that nothing as what we are facing will be able to happened in south Africa because the west is having a lot of investment there.

Air support is very important in war front. We can't win a war with foot soldier. What do I know self? God we need u.
Boko Haram has surface to air missile now. Moreover, in a close encounter, you can only make use of a chopper which is also very risky

So that means they should be shooting anywhere belle face or like armed robbers in the run. undecided.. you need to be highly technical to win a war.. that's why they've been finding it difficult for more than a decade now.

That's an ambush, it's hard to escape from an ambush. If they don't shoot, they'll die. If they shoot, they'll have a chance of survival. grin

Since the military is now charging soldiers for retreating, you don't expect them to run away, right? And you can't gather fast in an open field. The best thing is to duck and shoot, but you can only duck and survive when you're the attacker, which in this case they're not. Las Las, corruption is the cause of that situation. In a sane country with a functioning air force, you cannot stay up to 2 hours in battle without getting support.

If you also look at that video, the military has just one RPG, which is a shame, and the one mounting it always switches to his AK47 (1998 version grin). It's like they're prepared to die. So let's not blame tactics on this one, they didn't have time to prepare (the trucks there should be enough to let you know that this was an unexpected fight), and they're ill equipped. Foot soldiers don't fight in open fields, that's a task for tanks and jet fighters plus heavy artillery sometimes.

bH wanted them to run out of bullets.

I dey tell you,I wonder what the so called air force are doing.

I have already concluded that the Nigerian government and the Nigerian Army ( the service chief) don't want this war to end.

I only pity the soldiers putting their lives on the line, wasted effort. A whole Nigerian Army with all the Billions can't hit these guys hard ,very hard with good weapons.

I remember the other thread where the soldier was killed because he ran out of bullet,no backup nothing nothing.

The war have the backing of the west and middle east.
1. Most of BH Boys weapon are made in Turkey, America... How were they able to access them if not with support of suppliers in the black market those countries? I know that their is a cap to a weapon produced by these companies (private/government).
2. The war became intensified when our country reached it's highest GDP,Economic growth of double digit and more so when our economy was debased and became the largest in Africa and one of the fastest growing in the world.
I suspects that it's a plan by the middle east country backed by the west to distablised the country so that we will be depending on them for survival. The west and middle east are the major beneficiary of what is happening to us. No serious investor will love to invest in an unsecured environment hence, looking for other market where their investment can be protected.
Remember they said Nigeria can't survive beyond 2015? Yea,according to various West commentators. We survived that!
With trillion of nairas spent of the war, that monies could have fix our infrastructural deficit and probably eliminated medical tourism and reduced the amount of our patriots seeking education in the west.

This one no be talk,if Nigeria have evidence they should take it up , didn't you see how Trump threatened Turkey? Even if we don't have the power to threaten these countries ,we can take the matter to an international court.

Terrorism is now global but it's very difficult to track the financiers because they always stay away from anything that will link them to it,though they called the shoots.
Hope u understand sequence! I don't need to be told that a combination of all colors except White is black. From the signature of how the war is been fought, you will understand
Look at Libya now! Gaddafi was AU president, he threatened the west and they deal with him to dead, same is Saddam, and now Syria. All because of politics.
NB;Before the fall of Gaddafi, Libya have one of the best economy in Africa, that our brothers were running there to earn a living but since the intervention of the France and other western powers, the history of the country changed for the worse, same as Iraq, that now require more than a trillion of dollars to be rebuild.

...and They kept coming like water...hummm. fulani see your lives. Instead of producing the responsible future of Nigeria, they kept rearing children like cows and abandoning them to start a life thereafter. Instead of encouraging them with western education, the enrolled them in Islamic schools and began pounding their heads with bad doctrines, yet their children schooled overseas. If we don't break away from these people they would wreck this country in same animalistic ways they give birth. Sadly, they deploy our southern boys to the war zones while their boys are deployed to the south. Anyone in doubt should check out the names of the fallen soldiers so far. In Lagos, especially ikeja shopping mall, you see hausa spiders everywhere, doing nothing . Ori awon political leaders wa ti buru. They have all been silenced with money and positions, so much that they cant fight the perceived injustice. God would judge them all.

No matter how brave you are as soldiers, if the enemies outnumber you, it's either you retreat or get killed. Forget bravery in a situation like this.

What’s more saddening is seeing them exchanging fire with insurgents like they are mates.

Our military’s fire power, gadgets and technology should be more sophisticated and intimidating to the insurgents. That’s the only way to end the madness.

The insurgents need to feel foolish anytime they encounter our military. Only then will they abandon the avoidable war and embrace peace. angry

Just imagine a whole army with ak 47 rifles without scope, no body armour, no snipers to air support no artillery support and exposed to enemy fire 360 degrees. We can never win this war like this even if they fight for 100 years. Our are army should be using white phosphorus on these boko haram suckers. Smh
