The thing turn me to liar, not funny at all. I left the phone with their manager for 3hrs the phone dey okay

Bro, just calm. Don't change the screen yet.

Okay I will not change it

Order a new screen, your screen is defective. Happened to me, funny thing is it never happens when you need for proof. Hardware tests and the likes will not show anything. Yours is at stage 2 already( pressing itself, jumping around). Stage 1 is freezing, unresponsive for some seconds. It'd eventually just stop working by itself

yes, thank you. I noticed American sites do not charge much for shipping. I saw a page where shipping is free sef but there's a clause on shipping to naija. I have tried contacting the seller. As for searching at CV, I don't even wanna go there. I saw a battery on konga @6k. If the eBay seller sends to naija, I will just go for that.

@gptech, thanks boss. I have checked and contacted the seller. Although his batteries are not made by xiaomi, hopefully they will last long.
@timsilver thanks boss. Maybe you are right. I have left the phone over several months. However, I charged it till full on the day the screen arrived. I didn't put it on though, but it showed the green notification. So battery couldn't have been dead. I tried charging with another charger, it still blinks though. I don't know what I did, I know I removed the battery clip, blew some air into it and cleaned it swab. I plugged the phone, and it started charging. Phone is on now. So maybe the new charger decided to perform wonders now or my little engineering skill has paid off but the battery drains very fast sha. I am thinking of updating the OS though. I'm still on 8.0. However, I will keep using this till I order a new battery.
@jboixxx Thank you

Glad to know your phone is now cooperating. If you want to purchase things from American sites, you will be better served going through agents, most of these agents can be found in the "Technology Market" section.
You can contact the following users for such services:

Temitimx19
OnePunchMan

Good luck.

LOL. It is glo that "upgrades" to band 3. Xiaomi upgrade will not give band 28 if it is not there before.

I have not used them at a stretch for long hours yet because they are always fully charged; each time you replace them in the case, the case charges them. From YouTube videos, it gives about 4 hours of music play back and the case gives about additional 12 hours. Standby time is for days.
I am traveling this weekend and would be on the road for about 5hours. Would get a chance to try them out for long hours at a go.

thanks for the clarification.
i want to order the mi band4 but i want to knw how dope it is compared to samsung gear.

I use a Redmi Note 5 and I now have 4G since I entered Lagos yesterday but not in my formal location except I put my SIM in my sister's Nokia 2. Did I upgrade my phone? No. But why am in a place where Glo has rolled out LTE Band 3. If you go to places with only band 28 your 4G will disappear.

Install LTE Discovery or Signal Spy to confirm and stop arguing, it have been proven on this thread.

This my RN5

Hello guys, if I select the option to use my memory card as extra phone storage, will I be able to format it as external storage in another device if I want to start using it in another device?

Howdy Xiaomites... Came across this app sometimes ago. Didn't really explore it until today.... Its name is GPS TOOLS. I turned off my Internet connectivity completely before launching the app. After it connected to some satellites and had great signal, I went to the "speed" section and monitored my speed. I was inside a BRT. It was quite accurate. Though about 3-5sec lag. When the bus accelerates it also changes and when it comes to a complete halt, it reads zero. .. About 3secs apart.. All these with my Internet connectivity off.
I came across an option to track your device on it. It asked for an email to register and it detected my email automatically {for this, I needed Internet}. To add more than one device, it was asking for 750naira payment, but free with one device. I want to believe one will be able to track a device that has Internet connection off, as long as it has its location services on. Anyone with luxury of time can help us explore it and give us feedback. (I am on transit and time bound)

Olayinkajnr has given an insight on this before. If you format as external storage, you can use it on other devices but can't install or move apps on it
olayinkajnr:

If you format it as portable devices, you won't be able to install apps on it. Only pictures, music and other files can be saved on it.

If you format as internal, it will assume the position of your internal storage. All apps will be installed on it, all apps data will be saved in it. All your pictures, music and other files will be saved on it.

Plus, it won't be as fast as when you format as portable.

If you are formatting as internal, it's advisable to use an original SD card with high read and write speed.

So you decide now.

Still not what I'm asking for.
If I format as internal storage, it wouldn't work outside my phone. Here's my question: Having formatted as internal storage and I want to use it as portable device in another phone, will I be able to reformat it as portable device in the new phone?

No you can't, the SD Card is useless outside the phone it was configured to work with. You cannot reformat nor use it except in the phone. Lost 64gb SD card to that experiment. Still can't find a way around formatting it outside the phone, unfortunately the phone has been sold off embarassed embarassed

I haven't used or seen the Samsung gear so i cant give a comparison. You CANT receive or make call on the Mi Band 4 but you can use the Mi Band 4 to silence a call. Rating it i would say its fantastic. Display is top notch and clearly visible in the sun. All in all, i am happy and satisfied with it. smiley

Samsung Gear is a smartwatch while Mi band 4 is a smart/fitness band.

It is 100% possible. Unless you are using a fake SD card.

I have a 32gb SD card that I used with my Nokia 5.1 last year.

I formatted it as internal storage on Nokia 5.1. But then, I got Infinix Note 5, I formatted it as portable. I used that same SD card on Nokia 3.1 as internal storage too. Now I'm using the same SD card on my OTG drive.

So, kindly disregard that information.

Actually, he can. All he has to do is to format it back, either as portable or as internal storage.

Sorry about your lost SD card. But one or two things might contribute to it getting damaged and key among them is maybe it is a fake SD card or you don't just know how to format it outside the phone.

@jboixxx Thank you

Good one is back up and running. I learnt from a similar experience same blinking led issues. My phone couldn't come up for more than a week. It was the cable and charger. You can also charge you phone with a charger with 1 amp output. Charging would be slower but your battery life may become a little better.
