When last did Belgium call Fellaini when they have a lot of Young and exciting midfielders, Like Praet, Youri Tielemans and co. playing in top form in Europe . Even Vermaleen Na just squad player because they never get defenders wey go replace am and more so, it's not easy to replace defenders just like that, defence line needs maturity and the young ones that might want to take their place will have to learn the ropes from senior defenders.
The moment that the likes of Tielemans and Praet cane into limelight, Fellaini stopped getting call ups

Stoke City midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has withdrawn from the Super Eagles squad ahead of Sunday's international friendly against Brazil at the National Stadium in Singapore, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The Potters number eight was sighted in Lagos on Wednesday, fueling speculation that he was set to miss the friendly against the South Americans and this has been confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation via a press release, without stating the reason why he pulled out of the game.

The NFF and manager Gernot Rohr have opted not to call up replacements for Etebo and Torino defender Ola Aina.

CSKA Sofia's Viv Solomon-Otabor and Benfica's Tyronne Ebuehi were handed late invitations following the unavailability of Samuel Kalu and Kenneth Omeruo as a result of injury.

Twenty-one players trained on Thursday morning under the guidance of Rohr and two workouts will be held on Friday.

The official training session will take place on Saturday, with the match scheduled to kick off at 1300 hours Nigeria time on Sunday.

Senegal With an indigenous coach played Brazil without fear or repect. Did not play ten defenders and a goal keeper. It was a game of 11 v 11, forcing Brazilian to look ordinary and beatable.

NOW WATCH RHOR PLAY HIS FEAR INDUCED DEFENSIVE GAME ON SUNDAY, to make these Brazilians look like gods grin

Ur club performance will earn u a callup to the national team but its ur performance in the national team that will determine if u will keep ur spot or not.. Witsel,Carrasco,Fellaini and those players u mentioned have been part of d Belgian team long before they moved to lesser leagues... They kept their spots in the team because they kept performing... its a common practice among national teams.. u don't change a team just like that ..
Musa is in Saudi Arabia now but won't stop getting callups cus he is an integral member of the team.. even Rohr considers Shehu an important member of the team even though he is playing in d Turkish second division...

You are saying the same thing i am saying

Rohr that has been accused for inviting ighao from china

I would only disagree with you about shehu

Something is clearly happening behind the scenes, all these withdrawals cannot be due to injury!

we can debate the morality of the show but safarigirl is definitely right about it opening financial doors.

first the house where the housemates stayed would have been built by nigerian labourers and vendors. house accessories, food, drinks you name it provided by nigerian vendors.

i've not even mentioned producers, editors, camera crew.

clothes and make up, furniture makers nko?

social media content managers? the ripple effect of that show on nigeria's economy is immense abi you didn't hear more than N7bn was the amount made from votes cast for housemates in the finale? i personally don't watch the show as i used to in the past but whatever might be my misgivings about the programme i can't deny it has huge financial im;act on the country

By your logic porn empowers people too, kidnapping nko? Do you know how many people survive by corruption?

You May detest the show but it's not illegal and as far as I know it's not doing anybody any harm.
