Wow. Fresh material design.. Looking good. The stable release isn't out on RN5 pro yet. Patiently waiting. Miui 11 may force me to give pie another try... Let's see. Rocking my EU Miui 10 Oreo for the meantime.
Mind giving us a quick review of this stable release, bro..? Battery performance, display colours (very important), cam and all that. We'll appreciate.
#Xiaomi.euForever

Battery is good... UI is improved, transitions and animations are also improved... And some new features here and there... Stable version is very Snappy ✔️

Onlu issue is the lack of themes, themes for MIUI 11 are nonexistent

Bro did you get this Via OTA or you flashed it?

Flashed

Guys on Stock ROM will wait a bit before the Global Stable is available... Unless you have the Chinese version, then OTA should be readily available

What I meant was that you can't update via OTA. You just download the update via OTA ... It takes you to recovery, and then you flash the update from there.

True talk but you will understand that smartwatch has far more features than a smart band.
Smart bands are primarily for those who love workouts and want to keep track of their health
And airdots doesn't really have were to put a sim I guess.

Of course a mini in-ear bluetooth earpiece will not have a sim port!

Still not what I'm asking for.
If I format as internal storage, it wouldn't work outside my phone. Here's my question: Having formatted as internal storage and I want to use it as portable device in another phone, will I be able to reformat it as portable device in the new phone?
I apologise for that. Have you gotten the ans from the person that quoted you after me?

Hello guys, if I select the option to use my memory card as extra phone storage, will I be able to format it as external storage in another device if I want to start using it in another device?
saint2ace:

No you can't, the SD Card is useless outside the phone it was configured to work with. You cannot reformat nor use it except in the phone. Lost 64gb SD card to that experiment. Still can't find a way around formatting it outside the phone, unfortunately the phone has been sold off embarassed embarassed
olayinkajnr:

It is 100% possible. Unless you are using a fake SD card.

I have a 32gb SD card that I used with my Nokia 5.1 last year.

I formatted it as internal storage on Nokia 5.1. But then, I got Infinix Note 5, I formatted it as portable. I used that same SD card on Nokia 3.1 as internal storage too. Now I'm using the same SD card on my OTG drive.

So, kindly disregard that information.
olayinkajnr:

Actually, he can. All he has to do is to format it back, either as portable or as internal storage.

Sorry about your lost SD card. But one or two things might contribute to it getting damaged and key among them is maybe it is a fake SD card or you don't just know how to format it outside the phone.

okikiosibodu:
Good day Fam... Pls how do you advice I format my storage as...... Internal memory or portable device (RN7)

Cc: Olayinkajnr, Genius43, GrandMufti, Gptech, Jboixxx
olayinkajnr:

If you format it as portable devices, you won't be able to install apps on it. Only pictures, music and other files can be saved on it.

If you format as internal, it will assume the position of your internal storage. All apps will be installed on it, all apps data will be saved in it. All your pictures, music and other files will be saved on it.

Plus, it won't be as fast as when you format as portable.

If you are formatting as internal, it's advisable to use an original SD card with high read and write speed.

So you decide now.

Jboixxx... I think you should add these to you compilation list for newbies

He wants a smartwatch

And in respect of the price difference, obviously there has to be a major price difference between a smartwatch and a smart band. As the restricted few functions of a smart band compared to the almost phonelike functions of a smartwatch. And above all the price even goes higher when it comes from a major brand like Samsung or Apple. I think Apple series 3 ( not the latest 4)costs equals the XR.

Even Generic has it's own smartband. I had purchased one online when I was considering buying Miband4. And it cost a little less than half of the miband4 price. I must say I was disappointed with everything. I had to return my order and was refunded. When I purchased my phone I was given the same smart band for free ,which I sold off.

Even Samsung Galaxy Fit costs more than the Miband. I have watched the comparison video. And I must say I prefer the miband4 to the Galaxy fit. Because it has the music pause/play function and more battery life. But the Galaxy fit has a more accessible user interface.

Ae.

The features offered by the mi band 4 makes it a steal for the price in comparison to that of other top brands.

I still don't get the fun in making a call via a smartwatch with its tiny screen and all. That's a gimmickry that am sure a user will soon get bored of after the show-off phase.

I think you should re read my initial comment. In which world does a wireless earpiece have sim port? If the comment wasn't meant to be a sarcastic one? Even though I haven't seen any Xiaomi product before now . I have followed this thread long enough to see the comments on airdots, Qtcy and other earphones both wired and wireless. That have been purchased by members of this thread.
Please don't force me to admit nothing in order to ridicule me. I am a big fan of earphones and I have them plenty.
I know RN7 doesn't come with earphones and users have to buy them.
Have a Good Night Sir
