Birdman, to be honest, not more than 10 people are doing this Fantasy thing. You know how it gets once it starts. At most you only see 8 people active throughout the season.

It's like the world doesn't understand the Chinese people.
They all think in one direction. That's the only way they could have been what they are. You can't let 1.7billion people have democracy, free thought or free speech. It's a disaster. Morey, like the average American doesn't understand this. He thinks speaking freely about America has the same meaning to Chinese people. He is wrong. The Chinese people have grown up to believe that anything which threatens their government's position or power, unity or collective idea is a taboo. The thought or expression of the idea is not welcome anywhere around them. Call it being brainwashed, enslaved or whatever like many Americans call it. They don't care.
Morey should have minded his business. Americans should learn to mind their business as well and I hope Trump doesn't say something stupid. Obviously, the Chinese organizations and the people are overreacting with just one tweet but that's how a successful communist society will react when your idea is different from theirs. And they find if very disrespectful to think they are enslaved or need freedom like Morey and many people feel. They don't. For their population, they act more sane than most 'free' countries. Hong Kong is not Morey's or America's business.
Adam Silver did his best. I don't know why Americans are angry at him like they'll replace whatever money the NBA lost.
Now I can't watch NBA games after paying One Year VIP subscription just weeks ago and won't get a refund because of this nonsense. embarassed embarassed
Who do you think will be the bigger loser in all this?

The NBA is losing money right now and nothing more. I don't see this going far however, their citizens are pretty much done with the NBA as long as Adam Silver continues to maintain his stance on freedom of speech. It's quite difficult to maintain relationships with the Chinese because of how fragile their ego is. Imagine just a tweet from one guy messing with the heads of over 1.6B people and ruining business. NBA can definitely do without China and it's best they do on the long run. Meanwhile, Adam Silver has done well not being political about the whole thing.

You make a terrific point about Russel. Russel Wilson’s successful career which culminated in winning a SuperBowl opened doors for black QB’s in the modern era. His role in this narrative is under rated and rarely spoken about in my opinion. He changed the perspective about color and that position. The QB used to be exclusively for Whites even when they were horrible. Today we have C. Newton, D. Watson, P. Mahomes, D. Prescott, J. Winston, J. Brissett, L. Jackson, K. Murray and they are all starting QB’s in the NFL. This is unprecedented and atoms can be traced to the success of Wilson.

There is a black QB whose bust is in Canton Ohio and his name is Warren Moon, he more than anyone paved the way for black qb's in the league. The unique thing about Russell Wilson is that he made it possible for college qb's under 6ft to dream of not just playing in the NFL but also of getting drafted in the 1st round. Every analyst or scout who believed in Russell Wilson before his draft said if he was 6ft 2 he would be a first round pick. His GM who drafted him even said on his own personal board Russell had the same grade with Andrew luck. Guys like Mayfield and Murray owe their number one selection to the fact that Wilson has been a top 5 qb for the better part of a decade now. Just hope he gets one more Superbowl win.

600 million people watch the NBA in China. I think the loss would be both ways. The NBA might take a huge financial hit in the mean time, but moving forward I think they have structures in place to buffer the hit. But China are just trying to stand their ground to see if the NBA budge. For the fact that thousands of fans still came out to see the Lakers and Nets stars that went there signifies that deep in their hearts they still love the NBA. Imagine fans of the NBA in China not being able to watch the NBA, ever. That's depression on it's own grin

I'm telling you man, locally, they are done with the NBA. Those ones you see in the arena paid already paid a lot for those tickets. Their people are fine with not streaming NBA matches. Literally nobody streams the NBA in China. The fans are just bandwagons to be honest with you. American Basketball has never been their culture and will never be and not when it's looks down on their culture or political system. Of course China loses money but my point is, they don't care. They know the effect of what Morey's tweet and the damage it can do. Losing money is not really a loss to China like it is to the NBA.

Lmaooooooo people thought Adam Silver is all about Freedom of speech and all that jazz.

He might genuinely be but people need to not get it twisted, it's always about the Geld first for the Commissioner I guess they fell for the packaging because of his non-authoritarian stance.

I don't know if they would like to lose China's market and money

Look at this old man Shannon Sharpe hating on Zion. Ewwww.

His MCM 17 years in the league is a career 38% shooter from outside 3ft and he is talmbout he needs to see him shoot from elsewhere. Duhh he's a rookie, he's not supposed to be the finished article

Is he scared Zion is coming to steal all that shine?

Can anyone imagine if C. McCaffrey was black? This man is the best RB in the league in my opinion and he can punish you in so many way. He shows up every game day and puts up the numbers and play to back it up.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:49pm On Oct 13, 2019
Some firecracker games today.

The Browns everyone's favorite Superbowl pick are now 2-4

The showdown between Mahomes and Watson was pure napalm. Can't believe I'd ever be able to say 3 of the top 5 best QBs in the league are black. Hell I could say the top 3 right now are black

Just leaving the Stadium right now. Great game. Could not pass up the chance when a colleague of mine at work offered me a ticket to the game(the same Guy I told you Guys played in the NFL for a few years before Injury forced an early retirement).

Back to McCaffrey, He was immense this evening. I think He is facing the same prejudice Black QBs have faced over the years.

Is it this Dak Prescott the dink and dunk merchant birdman was saying they should pay elite QB money? Yeye dey smell!

If the Cowboys have sense let them better bite the bullet and seek a quality QB from the draft and endure the growing pains.

They have made the first mistake overpaying Zeke. If they overpay Dak they will be hamstrung till Jerry Jones is knocking on heaven's door
