Pls assist

Hello,
Pls can you put me through on how to re-apply via paper application.
Would like to do upfront Medicals, what’s the time frame like I.e two weeks before reapplying.

Also where did you get the police cert in Lagos and the cost

Thanking you in advance

There is no straight procedure for paper route application. Simply gather the required and supporting documents as per the IRCC document checklist via IRCC WEBSITE., Walk down to VFS at Lagos or Abuja, whichever is close to you and submit your application.

You're expected to book an appointment prior to undergoing an upfront medical exam. You will be given two weeks interval from the date you booked the appointment.

Police Character Clearance is processed at CID headquarters, Alagbon Ikoyi, Lagos. It cost 5k depending on your bargaining skills.

1. You have to be patient till you get a message from VFS to pick up ur passport, might take weeks, meanwhile keep tracking ur passport on their site. I will advise you wait for 2weeks you'll definitely hear from them.
2. Concerning the police report, do u have a photocopy since you claim u submitted the original? If yes you can submit the photocopy for ur next application if it hasn't exceeded the 3 months validity.
Good luck.

I Don Bleep up no photocopy o I didn't make photo copy of the police report.. Am I to get another?

I don't think police report has any effect on the outcome of any application. Submitted or not, it doesn't matter. Your focus should be trying to convince the visa officer 'why you should be considered for a study visa, backed with credible docs. All the best man

1. I will advise you defer ur program to a later date, as Nov is obviously late to apply for Visa for Jan resumption.. As we have seen of recent on this thread, there has not been any quick positive decision from CIC, the final decision we see that comes within a month or 2 are always refusals. So u have to defer ur admission to either May or September so u can have enough time to prepare to depart after ur approval.
2. Yea, u can do upfront medicals and police certificate.. NOTE:Police certificate isnt compulsory for study permit application. especially if you have submitted i in ur previous application so many peeps here have gotten approved without Police certificate (I personally know of 8 peeps that got approved without it). But if you are a 1st time applicant, then u can submit it.
4. Since u are no more in the EE pool, then dts good.. But mind you, they already have ur record that u were once in the EE pool, so they will know u already have the intention of not coming back to Nigeria even after ur study in Canada, but that isnt a prolem tho as we have seen someone here in previous thread getting approval even with his EE status. In all this, Canada application is just by Gods grace cos even the most qualified still get rejected and the least qualified get approved, so it still boil down to the grace of God.. Do ur best in putting a tight appication and ask for Gods favour on ur application.. I hope this helps.. Peace

Your colleague can transfer the money to you. However you need to briefly explain in your letter of explanation (LOE), the origin of the sudden lump sum deposit into your account as at the time of Application submission. If your friend will be sponsoring your education, a letter of financial support from him would suffice to further buttress the source of this funds.

Would you advice i make him my sponsor or i use my company account and make it self sponsor.I plan on making the transfer looks like a project money he will transfer it on different occasion and with different name.

There is a huge progress in your application. Following this, I would suggest you raise a CSE to the Kenya, Nairobi Immigration Office explaining to them that you've provided the documents they requested for on the DD/MM/YYYY and since then there haven't been any staggering response from their office as well as clearly stating that your application has exceeded the estimated processing times for Nigerian Applicants and further requesting that they should expedite the processing of your VISA. Lastly, thank them for the time devoted to the processing of your application.

CONTACT : The Kenya (Nairobi) Immigration department via this email: nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca

The subject of the mail should bear APPLICATION UPDATE, along side the applicant's FULL NAME, UCI NUMBER, APPLICATION NUMBER AND DATE OF BIRTH.

Also send your enquiry via THE NAIROBI WEB FORM.

All the best

Thank you so much

Oh yes I read through, there is an option for a direct entry into their PhD program. The Professor I contacted encouraged me to apply.

Is the direct PhD program available for all their programs like Computer Science/Software Engineering?

Hmmm If u can come with your husband that would be the best thing so that he can work full time and earn better pay. Working as a student has restrictions like; just 20hrs a week resulting in lower pay, very stressful in relation to your studies, day care is very expensive except the province you are going has free day care offer, also erase d mindset of working as a student to pay your next semester sch fees u must have at least 1yr sch fees advisable the whole sch fees cos to save as a student is very hard u will have to deprive ursef of some essentials including food even at dat its very hard. Some pple will not tell u wat they going ooo. So prepare ur mind. The best bet is getting PR from naija b4 coming if u want to work and earn good pay

Thank yOu so much but Please if i indicate that i will be going with spouse wont it raise question of family ties? As i initially intended to use them as family ties .
As for PR i believe you are talking about EE which many factors including finance isnt making the option favourable as i have intensely investigated.
Also do you happen to know which provinces offer free day care services i would like to see if i can explore the schools there.thanks again

$150CAD for reapplication (denied visa applicant's). First time applicants pay $235CAD which includes biometrics and application fees.
