Bros get your facts right, don't just single out specific events just to prop yourself up.If falling is the result of making a perforated argument, fall and stand again. It's ok to be wrong. If you wanna bring up the careers of other players to justify the invite of otabor, then do it right. You singled out the years Ekong played in Norway, without indicating the fact that he did so for a year, you made it seem like he played in Norway for 3-4 years. You also brought up Osimhen. Did you just mention that Osimhen was passed around in Belgium? What the hell do you mean? The last I checked Osimhen played for a single Belgian team. If a player played for a succession of lowly-rated teams over a time period of 3-4 years, then honed their skills over the next couple of years to become a decent/good players, it doesn't change the fact that he was average in his previous stint. They might have repented from their sins and become better players. The question is, does he deserve a call-up? No he doesn't. At this point in the time, we have got a large pool of players to pick from, and there is no reason to go as far as Bulgaria to pick someone. Our level don change. When he graduates from average to somewhat good player, maybe he will deserve a call-up then. By the way, usually when a player is average at 23, the likelihood of he continuing that trend of mediocrity his high. That's the problem we have as Nigerians, too much " just take him/her, his fortunes will change" If you have got no substance, with respect to your job, you definitely don't deserve it. Peace

At least he will understand you better seems he didnt understand me

"Brazil are a good team and it isn't going to be easy.

"But this is why we're here, we want to see where we are at. The game will serve as a test for our young team trying to get experience.

Troost Ekong speaks:

"Brazil are one of the best teams in the world and we have to respect them.

"But if we are at our best, we can make things difficult for them. We shouldn't fear them or be afraid.

Lol funny dude.

Ekong did not play a year in Norway before a call came. He was captain of his club during the olympics and his first cap came in 2015 against Chad I believe

Why I Called Up Viv Solomon-Otabor As Replacement For Kalu Ahead Of Ejuke, Okereke – Rohr Explains
October 12, 20190236

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr who is under-fire by the media for calling up CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria winger Viv Solomon-Otabor as replacement for ‎injured Samuel Kalu has explained the reason behind his decision.

The call up to Solomon-Otabor came as a surprise to many considering that the former Birmingham City teenager hasn’t done as much as other Nigerian players plying their trade in leagues higher than that of Bulgaria, Where Solomon-Otabor plays.

Defending his choice in a chat with Owngoalnigeria.com, the Franco-German coach said Solomon-Otabor will surprise many if he gets to play against Brazil and that he called him up as replacement for Kalu because they play same position.

He said he monitored the player for a year before deciding to call him up when the opportunity came following the withdrawal of Kalu. Rohr advised Club Brugge David Okereke and Heerenveen Chidera Ejuke to continue with their impressive form as he will call them up soonest.

” I like what I saw in him when I watched him. He is like Kalu on the wings and we have been monitoring him for some time now. The other players like Okereke, Ejuke will get their chance soon. Solomon got the nod because the vacancy is for a winger. Players doing well need to continue working hard”, the coach explained.

Source: owngoalnigeria.com
However he tries to spin this - calling up Otabor makes no sense.

Is he saying he sees Ejuke more as a AM or what? Because as a winger, Ejuke is better than Otabor.
Sha make we dey see. I don't buy this explanation at all

He was with dordrecht in the eirdivisie when he was called up by Keshi against Chad. From the Dutch side he joined Gent but left immediately on loan to Norway where he did very well.

Samuel Kalu would have enjoyed playing against Dani Alves and Marquinhos

Lodl will match Chukwueze speed for speed

Jesus will not be a problem for Jamilu Collins

Firminho will be a handful for Ekong (potential red card)

Considering the bold are you making reference to Jesus Gabriel and are you being serious are you just joking ❓ ❓

Fellow Nigerians no tension, we are winnin by the Grace of God.

I predict Nigeria winning 4-0 tomorrow. Many will be shocked with the outcome.

Aina with a goal, Etebo also getting one goal, Kalu and captain fantastic, Musa scoring the last one.

Every outfield player in the under 21 team is in the premier league. Unlike us, they will not use a player in the lower league unless there is no option in the premier league.

It is not people here that are hyping him. I can bring articles on his performance this season, we can pull out stats from reputable sites.

Let us not forget that Etebo plays in the same league.

5) Atletico Madrid - 7
Victor Osimhen - 7
Ciro Immobile - 7
Aubameyang - 7

On paper its a game the brazillians should win convincingly but as a team, they are out of form at the moment..we have the tools to hurt them so we will definitely score more than one goal..we are a team that has been on a rise. Howbeit slow but steady..that is progress..
I predict a nigeria win or draw..
