I was once in your shoe, landed in Abuja after NYSC no house,no money, no job. My only faith was in my HND result. I did menial job in building site, slept in motor park, lost my properties, felt sick Caused by mosquitoes while sleeping in the open. But I am always happy and never allowed depression to set in. At times I will attend event centre and wedding in other to eat free food but today the story have changed. So my brother my advice to you is to believe in yourself and God, don't look up to human beings they will never help you rather use and dump you

Pls your help and sincere advice is needed. I was running a business outside Lagos, but due to many unforseen circumstances, the business crashed, am not giving up through.

The only challenge is the I've invested my all in this business and right now am broke and without a job, I really don't want to be a liability to anyone. I've been applying for jobs and funny enough most of them are in Lagos.

Nothing is forthcoming and I don't want to sit idle doing nothing. Am on my way to Lagos right now with no cue as to where I'd stay when I get there, but only arsenal is that I have a degree and am willing to take on any job that comes my way before I find my way.

Please help as regarding the place that's the safest to stay or hang around while hustling to raise cash to bounce back.

Bro to be sincere with you this is not a good idea because the place you headed "Lagos" is a state that have it all... The good, the bad and the ugly of every situation is here waiting for you in lasgidi. You have to brace up for the unexpected and watch your back 24/7. Also, avoid redspot or crime ridden areas should incase SARS men are out for their routine raiding. Be smart, talk sharp and be streetwise coz here in this town everybody is on Red-eye alert mode. Lastly, since you said you are a Christian pray to God for Mercy and Favour before you embark on the trip down here, but if you are already on the trip to Lasgidi, ask for the branch of the church you worship with in Lagos and locate their pastor and open up to him, he can help you with accommodation. Church is the only place you can be accommodated without much hassle.
