it has never been his match...
let me see who will ever hype him here again...
mtcheeww that guy is not a super eagles material...at all.
removing oshimen was a bad call
Don't tell me you're blaming Rohr for trying other players. If he didn't introduce Onuachu how would you confirm he's "not Super Eagles material?"

Kalu is a suspect. The man/boy is a good dribbler thats pretty much about it.

Onauchu was the scape goat today ,it would have been Moses Simon and Iwobi ,I don’t think chuks even did better than Simon

Our best players where Ajayi aribo osimhen Ekong Ndidi awaziem ,in that order before the rest

My impression after this match may be simple but unpopular. We need 2 good alternatives to our current crop of players for the following positions:

1) We need another number 9 to compliment Osimhen. I would go with Isaac success ( for speed, strength and hold up play). Onuachu is just too static for the kind of young players we have now. Currently our attack is centered on speed and mobility.

2) I also believe Iwobi needs competition in number 10. Ihenacho can be converted to an attacking midfielder for us (imagine ihenacho and Osimhen combination). Eberechi Ezeh is another name being floated. Azeez was not bad today but would need to be evaluated more.

In my opinion, we have a good compliment of players for the other positions. With good management we could become world beaters.
Isaac who?

But he was so perfect against Egypt.

The Ndidi I saw in this game was descent. I mean we played against a Midfield of Arthur, Casemiro and Coutinho. Someone is even saying Mikel Agu and Azubuike will do a good job. Same Mikel Agu that looked out of sort against Zambia during our world cup qualifier. SMH

Overall the players did well bar iwobi who was below par and as for Onuachu.... Lemme not talk

I think Onuachu need one more game with the Super Eagles ... his movement today was awful and lack confidence . There was a time he had the opportunity to open up for Chukwueze but made the wrong run ..also was too static . One more game as a final warning !!! Cos he has got the right height we needed in a striker .

he did same in Egypt..I watched his matches...

so I believe it is time to try other folks...

Abeg let's stop using this height thing to condone the shit Onuachu has been giving us. The guy is simply not eagles material and worse he doesn't fit into the eagles style of play.

You don't have to be a pole to be a good striker. I'm sure a lot of average guys are taller that Aguero , yet he's tearing EPL apart as a striker every season. Even Osimhen has a decent height , so it's not as if Osimhen is short. If we are to get someone that will deputise Osimhen, let it be someone that can equally do damages like Osimhen, and not someone that has only one useful part of his body

Exactly, Azeez has stabilized the midfield
We now have two superb inclusions in midfield and it's taking shape with more competition.

Az and Ari have come to stay.

Even if you convert or use any of the wingers as striker, same thing would happen. Onuachu was all over the place trying to make an impact. If the ball doesn’t get to him from his midfielders, how would he perform? He made one faulty and disappointing pass then spend the rest of the time running back to defend or chasing balls that he shouldn’t run after.

The Eagles played well but they were lucky. They were caught off guard lots of times. A much better team would’ve capitalised in the weakness in our left full back to do them harm.

Awaziem, Ajayi, Ndidi, Ekong and Chukwueze played their hearts out. Awaziem especially showed courage, strength and intelligence. He wasn’t intimidated, he dispossessed the Brazilians effortlessly and his positioning was very good.

Nigeria lacks quality in the midfield. Apart from Ndidi and maybe Aribo, the rest are just there because there are no serious competitions. Iwobi can be very annoying.

What you wrote up there may be true but no excuse for Paul. Dude is damn below average and lacks every attribute of a footballer
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Eleniyan15: 7:00pm On Oct 13, 2019
Ndidi was able to cage Arthur and Casimero in first half of the game.
The way he cleared the ball in the 18yard was top notch an amateur would have waited for the ball to either bounce or try to nod which would have put the team in danger.

Ndidi is indispensable in super eagles team for now.

Ajayi did well I would love him to mount the defense with Omerou/Ekong but I will prefer ekong because omerou is not fast but his a good CB no doubt!!!'

The problem was Iwobi and our final passes
I hope rohr work on that, NFF should give us Germany!!!

Am also very happy we were tested with corner kicks because that has always been SE problem
Lastly Uzoho is getting mature, the other goal keeper looks compose so well!!!

Nigerians have very short memory...lol. Ndidi has underperformed since he started playing for the super eagles ,and , suddenly , he had a decent first half and all his failures turned success overnight. Very shocking! And , you want me to not speak my truth because your precious Ndidi plays for Leicester? Please, let's respect ourselves because we are grown here. Agu is million years ahead of carpenter Ndidi... Ndidi can play for your white masters for all I care but he is still a frigging carpenter. I blame the stupid NFF for running our local league aground if not I will hang anybody that utters a foreign club name....nonsense!

Million years ahead of ndidi?
He must be an advanced super tech machine. No wonder he cannot make our team of average humans. Forgive us sir.

The way some people hype bang average players here is jus disgusting. Who be Agu and Azubuike abeg? They are so good and they can't even get top clubs or they performances blind the eyes of the scouts and top football coaches. Azubuike is the captain of the under 23 team, Dennis and Victor are part of that same team and they are in the super Eagles. If he's that good he will be in the super eagles too like his U23 team mates. Be hyping local man like his makalele, Kante and zizou rolled in one....make una take time oh

Awaziem was dancing in the team's bus and got this response....

"Save your strength, na Neymar you dey mark"

I think it was Ndidi who said so... Lol

Moses Simon did better at gent than kalu

I have followed kalu from trencin days ,I have once met him before his move to gent

You tried to discredit Moses Simon who I said was the hazard of gent

You are so good in talking down of players you don’t like ,and you can’t even back up anything you say

The other day you said awaziem was naija most constitent player for the past few seasons ,I have to tell you that awaziem was match rusty for months before he joined rizespor ,and I had to remind you of how Ekong have been the man and you kept mute

You are a comedian bro
