Rohr does not read games well.

We do not have a replacement for Iwobi. Azeez will not give you attacking invention

Waiting to be called his direct replacement Eberechi Eze.

Two seasons ago Aribo was a League One player. Any outstanding player in the lower leagues should be monitored. Especially those who play in areas where we need reinforcements.
Eze and one certain player comes to mind

Time for Ezenwa to step up?
I will rather take Alampasu at worst. Maybe we should try other FBs. Dele no try at all o

Is all well with you?

Did you not see Iwobi became anonymous 2nd half and should have been substituted?

IMO I don't think Iwobi has the stamina to play 90 minutes effectively he will fade after some time.

Future tense.

Let's talk present. Who on the bench would you bring for Iwobi.

Seeing we play 2 qualifying matches next month, better to have Ezenwa who has some experience with the team
Not sure Maduka is ready for such responsibility

Collins was excellent. So impressive today

My opinion in that defensive line up he was the weakest link.

Let's not be deceived this was a friendly for Brazil they were not going ALL OUT.

We got a draw but we were not the better team and we had a lot of luck.

I don't think awaziem is underrated. Some just don't fancy his style of play.

I think he is still average IMO

I don't think Samuel Kalu is improving

He's the same Samuel Kalu from his early Bordeaux days, good dribbling but poor end product

I think one of Ejuke, Lookman or Sheyi Ojo would replace him in the upcoming months

I still have faith in the young man.

#BRANGA: Uzoho injury update

From Colin Udoh:

Rohr told me this evening that @Uzohof has external ligament and meniscus injury. Didnt say how long he would be out, but could be as much as a month. Get well soon, Francis!

#Team9jaStrong
The way he landed it was obvious it'd be long
I thought it was a knee displacement
He didn't land well

Sadiq Umar should get a look in before Akpom.

Sadiq Umar was woeful in Rangers and has done nothing to justify any call up.

There is more justification for the call up of Seyi Ojo.

The commentator said he was disappointed the Nigerian left winger couldn't capitalise on Brazil's obvious weak link "Alves" like the Senegalese winger did. Simon Moses should be ashamed of himself. He is a useless player.

As good as Lodi is, Chuks was making him look useless whenever they faced off
I had wanted Dennis ahead of Simon but Rohr didn't do it. Notice that the left wing sprang to life when Dennis came in. We started operating from the left.

Aribo gets it because of the goal he got, aside that I will give it to Uzoho. The guy was too good today

Seconded

Aribo two games and has been consistently above par and the bright light.

It's quite an amazing introduction two games, two goals and MOTM in both for me you simply can't do better than that.

somehow:
It is a strong side going by name but by recent performance, they are not it. It showed in their performance during COPA, they couldn't beat some small names hands down. The final match was the only outstanding game all through COPA. (The stats are there).

More reason they have been playing friendlies for a while now just to work on their morale and performance but it's still not working.

Speaking of Nigeria, we're in ascension compared to Brazil bro!

Brazil had 68% possession against our 32%
Had 20 goal-scoring chances against our 10 but was found wanting converting all these chances to goals.

Yes, off-target but they created them! this is why I am saying they are very low on morale. They had no problem creating goal-scoring chances but just couldn't do anything with them. Some were due to bad luck. They would have won with like 4:1 scoreline today if not for the woodwork, on the line clearance and last-ditch blocks from our defenders. (You can go on youtube to catch the detail highlights sir).

I am not disputing the fact that we did well, I am just saying they are not really a strong side like some believe except for the names! Spain, Netherland or Belgium will surely destroy this Brazilian squad! Even Germany!

In fact, Croatia will finish them or even Russia with their current form.

Agreed without reservation there is need for a reality check before many get super delusional.

Very limited indeed, how many centre backs have you seen play as makeshift right backs since Sergio Ramos played RB for Real Madrid and the Spanish national team ? It's not easy for a natural centre back to easily overlap. Awaziem is a centre back and not a right back, so don't expect him to be pacy and make overlapping runs

That's the point.

Awaziem is very intelligent and uses that yo cover his handicaps that's why he offers little or nothing coming forward.

He is a makeshift RB or RWB he is not suited for the position. We are country of a 100 million can we not get a proper RB for goodness sake.

Onuachu had a decent game to me, he has been slated left, right and center.

From my perspective it seems he came on to bring stability and create an outlet. The midfield later in the game was getting over run.

Onuachu became the outlet long balls sent to him, taking pressure off the midfield and allowing him to hold up play. l didn't see him going forward but sitting deep mostly to be an outlet.

In that restrictive role l thought he did satisfactory.
