Isaac Success should be invited. He is strong and can also dribble.
I do also think both him and Etebo should return to Spain and Nacho to France.
We need both of them urgently in this current set up.
We have lost Musa Yahaya. We cannot allow Success and Nacho to waste.
For me Onachu does not fit our system. We need a very mobile forward like Success and Nacho!

Well played Super Eagles!
I was just imagining, what might have happened, having both Kalu and Etebo in this game.
Forget Issac Success. He's an average finisher even on top form.

If Etebo came, i doubt Aribo would have started. Now i think Aribo has given the coach food for thought and might have displaced Etebo from the starting line up.

Onuachu reminds me of Bartholomew Ogbeche and his inclusion into the 2002 WC squad.

He scored a great goal against Egypt and we were deceived easily. Now, we know better.

Although, I'm not sold on Akpom.

Dennis..... Hmmmm. I didn't expect much from him tbh. So, I'm not really surprised.

Simon Moses, Chukwueze and Osimhen would have made most re impact if Iwobi had connected the CM with the attack well.

All in all, we tried but I won't get carried away. It was a friendly and some Brazilian players may have not been giving their best to prevent injuries

you should be ashame of yourself. U are trying so hard to pulldown our team effort. So the Brazilian players was trying to avoid injury . I see, Naija players like injury alot. Stop posting nonsense please.

Seeing we play 2 qualifying matches next month, better to have Ezenwa who has some experience with the team
Not sure Maduka is ready for such responsibility

a player who could play against Brazil won't be able to man the post the likes of Lesotho and Benin rep.

please tell me something else..

Onuachu had a decent game to me, he has been slated left, right and center.

From my perspective it seems he came on to bring stability and create an outlet. The midfield later in the game was getting over run.

Onuachu became the outlet long balls sent to him, taking pressure off the midfield and allowing him to hold up play. l didn't see him going forward but sitting deep mostly to be an outlet.

In that restrictive role l thought he did satisfactory.

I think you didn't watch the match...
please do so on YouTube....

you're good with words but your analysis of the game I nor understand at all....

Real Madrid's Brazil Star Casemiro Reveals What Impressed Him Most About Super Eagles

Brazil are still searching for their first win after their Copa America triumph following their 1-1 draw with Nigeria in an international friendly in Singapore on Sunday, October 13.

The five-time world champions avoided defeat when Real Madrid defensive midfielder Casemiro cancelled out a 35th minute opener from Glasgow Rangers star Joe Aribo.

The Brazil number 5 was impressed with the physical qualities of the Nigeria players and believes they played a good second half against the three-time African champions after scoring the equaliser.

''Speaking of results, it is never favorable. When it comes to Brazil, we always want to seek victory,'' Casemiro was quoted as saying by TV Globo.

''But within what we were presenting, today the answer was very good. The second half was good, against a physically strong team.

''The result is not good, but no doubt the second half was good, yes.''

The Super Eagles will face Benin and Lesotho in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.

Sadiq Umar was woeful in Rangers and has done nothing to justify any call up.

There is more justification for the call up of Seyi Ojo.

But Ojo was also abysmal in Reims and has also done nothing to justify a call this season. Umar has even done way better than Ojo this season

I had wanted Dennis ahead of Simon but Rohr didn't do it. Notice that the left wing sprang to life when Dennis came in. We started operating from the left.

Dennis offered nothing. Simon is a better player than Dennis. Dennis isn't Eagles quality

That's the point.

Awaziem is very intelligent and uses that yo cover his handicaps that's why he offers little or nothing coming forward.

He is a makeshift RB or RWB he is not suited for the position. We are country of a 100 million can we not get a proper RB for goodness sake.

As good as the Dutch national team is, they still don't have a proper right back, yet, football is their first sport. We have a proper right back in recuperating Ebuehi, and we have a good back up in Aina.

Iwobi can't be relied on.

Onuachu is not SE material.

IMO Akpom is not good enough.

He had multiple chances at EPL, Championship and was always found to be wanting.

That's why he left to Greece maybe he has improved, l don't know, is he the in the top 3 goal scorers in that league?? ❓

He has only scored 2 goals so far this season ,same thing as brown ideye

My opinion in that defensive line up he was the weakest link.

Let's not be deceived this was a friendly for Brazil they were not going ALL OUT.

We got a draw but we were not the better team and we had a lot of luck.

It is easier to defend in a compact set up but still Collins played poorly in some moments that had me shaking my head. No disrespect to Collins but he does not look a quality player to operate down the flanks for us.

We caused Brazil problems sometimes when we were on the counter. Generally, we were poor. We could not keep the ball, could not fight for it with intensity and relied a lot on individual performance to cause problems. We lacked team cohesion in our display too.

Tactically as a unit, we really had nothing to offer. I am not flattered by the result when we parked the bus. When it comes to team performance, we were non existent.

you dont have truth in you at all. So the Brazilian were not going all out? I'm kinda tired of people trying so hard to wave off our team performance each time we put up a better shift, y'all easily switched to nonesence rhetoric. I'm sure you saw their jubilation from their bench the moment they scored, that should tell u they took the match serious. Please take your nonsense rhetoric off this page. It is nauseating.

We can not know how good our forwards are if we keep playing in negative fashion. In such situations where we are not playing with offensive intensity but sitting back and hoping to capitalise on mistakes, I hardly blame forwards in such set up.

We have TWO Right Backs. TWO.

Perhaps you forgot about them. Injury to Aina and a half fit Ebuehi is the only reason Awaziem had to fill in, and he did brilliantly well. No basis for complaint.

Which shell am I coming out of? We were poor in that game. It is not about me or you or what we like. It is a fact. We need to improve on our strategy and tactics. An overhaul of our philosophy because the conservative system does not favour us and makes us look mediocre.

I still believe we can cause lots of top teams problems if we adopt a more offensive strategy and build on it. Reduce the comfort of our opposition with the ball and attack spaces with pace when we win the ball.
