Fans slam Women affairs Minister, Pauline for kneeling to beg House of Reps speaker Femi Gbajabiamila at a function.

Nigerian women have taken to twitter to condemn the Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, for allegedly kneeling to beg the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, at a function over the weekend.

Tallen and Gbajabiamila were invited as speakers at the WIMBIZ Women in Politics Dialogue which held at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja on Saturday October 12th.

During the event, Tallen reportedly went on her knees to beg Hon.Gbajabiamila to ensure more female representation in political office appointments.

Media personality, Kadaria Ahmed who was a moderator at the event, confirmed that indeed the Honorable Minister, knelt to plead with the Speaker.

Nigerian women found the act distasteful and have taken to Twitter to react. See their tweets below.

That's the dullards appointee. Apc AREWA People's Congress. To get anything done, they expect you to kneel. Omo agege and now pauline.

During pdps tenure, we had strong women like oby, akunyili AND okonjo iweala, now we have nothing. I guess he wants the south to kneel too .

Women and southerners. Look and learn which side helps you butter your bread

She begged for inclussion without merit, she begged for appointments based on gender and not hardwork

When a lady fails a cousre and walks up to her lecturer for marks upgrade, she would try to pin every and any fault on him, since men should carry all blames

Who gives a flying Fu*k about some random opinions, she's fighting for herself off social media, you come on media handles to condemn her actions. But, if they were given d chance they'd do worse.

I know Talena VERY well. She is a huge political force in Plateau state. Trust me if she is kneeling down for speaker she is definitely getting something in return. That woman is too sharp.
