Yes and yes. It is a normal military practice all over the world. Because it is not reported in all those militaries does not mean it does not happen. Flogging has been abolished on paper but it still happens even among Russian recuits.

I understand what you are saying but an officer is an officer...you have 10 degrees as an NCO, you are still an NCO and am officer is superior...you don't salute the man, you salute the rank!

When the heat of the battle was too much, he regularly sorth advice from his sergeant who was way older than him and had more battle experience.
At the end he succeeded where others failed, though a movie there are many lessons to be learnt. The way e be some of us ehh!!! if them hang pip, people no go hear word again.

Exactly you as a commander, if u loose command and allow enemy to cart away d weapons, u will be court martialed.
Mostly the soldiers are only to be asked about their personal rifles,while a commander is d one who sign all d unit weapons, so he will be held responsible to any tin happens to the weapons.
So be very carefull oo
BHTs have spoiled many officers future in this fight,
Some are aiming to reach Maj-Gen
But their journey terminates at Maj or Lt.Col
With strong prayers to Compulsory Retirement, if not Dismissed and jailed

And for some others, may be they will consider withdrawing from the whole process after getting to know one or two things that they never knew about the system, and give chance to those who are truly ready for this thing.

No more wasting of valuable spaces again by those who will later withdraw along the way. Have I spoken well?
