Uchek: It did when one Ipob Flat head and his lineage that did not vote for APC in 2015 and 2019, woke up just now and are asking that the APC Presidency be reserved for them, after seeing that PDP will still give their ticket to a Northerner. If these fools who like to reap where they did not sow have come with HUMILITY and said: SW, how do we work together to wreack power from these Northerners who are abusing us, in such a way that it is equitable and acceptable to both of us (One zone has to go first before the other and seeing that it is the SW that produced APC, they should go first and then support the SE to ensure they also produce that President they could not produce in the last 50yrs). if they used the humble approach and not their usual greedy, selfish, i-before-others approach they are noted for, we wont be discussing Yoruba Vs. Igbo political fight....we would be strategising on how to go about achieving the desired objective. Southern Nigeria is so unlucky to be burdened with these igbo people. Everybody is their enemy, they don tlike anybody. 1 Like |

kotv: Dont bite the finger that fed you or let Ibos lead you astray! Ibos bombed and conquered you, just to force you as slaves, into Biafra, back then in 1968. If not for a Yoruba person, (OBJ) and many other Yorubas who stood behind him when Yar Ardua died,, the SS will never had have the opportunity to produce a Jonathan as President or for him to sit on that chair, when Yar Ardua died. THINK! THINK!! THINK!!! Those who forget their history, are bound to repeat their mistakes. Dont allow Igbos to infect you with hatred and anger. ![]() ![]() 1 Like |

PaChukwudi44: Head or tail Yoruba lose nothing! You just don't understand the politics of Yoruba people. The general assumption now is that Tinubu is interested in 2023 presidency but he hasn't actually come out to say that. Trust me if eventually he decides to contest, don't be surprised if majority of Yoruba decide not to vote for him. You can never accurately predict Yoruba people when it comes to politics. An average Yoruba person will prefer to vote for a Soludo,a Donald Duke, etc because of the quality these people posses rather than on the basis of political affiliation with them. The politics of "he is our brother" is not that strong here. What happened to Jonathan in 2015 was self inflicted political injuries. It was rather too late before he actually realised it. Personally as a Yoruba, I felt betrayed by some of the actions and utterances of the former President while he was in power. It wasn't Tinubu that influenced south west voting pattern in 2015; it was just coincidental. Majority of Yoruba were actually not happy with Jonathan and they were waiting for him at the poll to express it. If you believe there was a "treacherous alliance" with the North in 2015, can you tell me what happened in 2011 when an overwhelming majority of Yoruba freely and happily gave their votes to Jonathan ? It is just too early to talk about 2023 now. Anything can happen to the political landscape of Nigeria before then. |

Biety: Buhari can only hand over to whoever wins the 2023 election. It can be a Northerner. Or are you suggesting that Northerners will be barred from contesting in 2023? Or that Buhari will just hand over to whoever he likes? |

Dareal90s:Who is wailing? Are you not a wailer? Keep deceiving yourself as if you or your brethren are better than anybody. For your information since you are ignorant, there are more than 20 million Igbo's living the east,or is there any southeast state that has majority afonja,or is there any southeast state that has a population of less than 3.57m? Igbo's live everywhere both home and abroad where they find a need to provide solution to any problem. They aren't beggars ,or have they come to beg you for money? Now,the borders are closed, you can't talk, all the senior custom officers at seme and other southwest borders are northerners, you can't talk. Your women are wailing and their rice is being seized everyday, you can't talk. Keep living in delusion. You will still be the loser. 1 Like |

Honor10:Yes,Atiku is coming. You aren't a supreme court judge. Well,I just responded to your foolishness, saying the southwest can bring down any government. I just pointed out the uselessness if your votes. You can only bring down the government of a fellow southerner like you did to Gej since you guys can be used by outsiders. |

mrvitalis: The elementary politics of Nigeria shows it was formed on a Tripod of North, West and East After OBJ (West), it was Yar'dua (North) , Goodluck (East), Buhari (North) then it should be West next. We are watching. 1 Like |

PaChukwudi44: Actually yes. At least I can speak for myself and my circle. Even PMB will most likely endorse a Yoruba as successor. Ango appears to be a total nutcase but he is just acting a script. The unity of this country is at stake. |

waternogetenemy: Wrong my friend, you are so wrong.......take for instance, only a few days ago, there was a post on here about how much revenue NPA generated from just one port in 3 months, 300 billion to be precise, and does not include remittances to the FG from VAT, custom duties at the borders, other sources of revenue, not to talk of the fact that the state is also an oil producing state. Lagos has always been the one feeding the FG not the other way round. The scanty, dilapidated infrastructure built by the FG in that state is only an infinitesimal fractional of the huge revenues that state has paid to the FG over the years. |

mrvitalis: I have to restrain myself from using a hard language on you but if you have a sound understanding of Nigeria, won't you know that there are Yorubas in the Middlebelt or North Central? Do you know the essence of the National Conference the GEJ failed to implement? Are many of us from middle belt not angry with him for playong careless politics with such matters of crucial importance? If he didn't waste time to.implement the recommendation of the conference it would have been near impoy for PMB to be messing around with our collective intelligence on many issues of national importance. |

That's left to the innate Discernment of the Yorubas, The Igbos, The Tivs, The Ijaws etc to subjugate into Slavery and eradication of their Tribes within those one hundred years. |

Ruga will vote for them. Herdsmen everywhere will vote for them. Toll-gates Marshalls and Fulani Vigilantes everywhere will vote for them. Abakaliki has just received some 911 Trucks loads of Herdsmen. Many more are coming. They will all vote for North Candidate. But they are forgetting that Buhari is the Northern last Card Candidate that will ever qualify for the Presidency. |

Excuzeme: Who did you feed? Have you even feed yourselves yet? Yorubas are such arrogant people despite being the most useless people ever. You saved us from so called slavery by Igbos or so you said only for you parasites to become what you accuse the Igbos of. Yorubas have not done anything for SS other than your parasitic ways. After your display of hatred in 2015 now you remember you need allies. Get out. I'm thinking and we know the least people to trust is Yoruba. |
