sorry but Onuachu didn't do jack robinson. his first touches on the ball made that of Lukaku's look like leonardo da vinci. easily the worst player on the pitch despite the fact he spent barely 20 minutes on the field

komekn:

For the last few minutes that he came on he did the job he was called too, IMO.

Take the pressure of the midfield, create an outlet for the long ball and hold up play.

simon did ok in my opinion. his only issue which is not his fault is that he is not gifted in dribbling ability like samuel kalu or chukwueze.

andrewbaba44:

I don’t think he had a good game but people where 2 harsh on me here just because they are angry their favorite osimhen was subbed off ,no be today I know this thread

Moses Simon was their target but he had a decent game ,only few players where better than Simon as far as football ratings is concerned

men i've had a good laugh today with all the funny things i've read today

'ndidi was poor therefore etebo and azubueike would have performed better than him' grin

'nigeria was poor tactically we should have taken the game to brazil and not park the bus' grin grin because we have world class players all over the field. same brazil that beat a messi led argentina some months back barely breaking a sweat and they did it without neymar o!

'we shouldn't commend the boys for a decent result because brazilian players were not serious' grin grin grin grin grin This takes the cake. so neymar was only catwalking before he picked up that injury abi!? they should kukuma have completed the good gesture and let us win since the brazilian national team is now an NGO that dashes out wins to the winless SMH

Seeing we play 2 qualifying matches next month, better to have Ezenwa who has some experience with the team
Not sure Maduka is ready for such responsibility
ok...you have a point.

What has Badji done professionally to get such recognition?
of course nothing yet, but considering the strikers paraded by Senegal at AFCON, this guy might soon displace them

one thing nobody has mentioned on this thread is our over Reliance on chukwueze. I think we need to find a good backup just in case...SOMETHING happened (which I pray against )

The only player I have watched who has a bit of Samu's attribute BUKAYO SAKA. But... if there are better left footed wingers, they should get a look in

He tried doing a 1-2 with Onuachu about twice after coming in buh the Bamboo stick wasn't intelligent enough

And he even put in a cross that Onuachu couldn't still win, that guy is a waste of space
I pray poor Onuachu doesn't stumble on this thread. Chai!

I agree Simon is better than Dennis. Dennis has a lot of things to improve on.

Not with what simon played yesterday.... he nor try at all

Since we are talking about Simon, I think we can convert him to a left back considering he offers nothing going forward. That way he can put in his defensive abilities. And also serve as a backup to Jamil Collins

sorry for derailing

#funfact

Marcus Rashford has won Manchester United's goal of the month award for the month of September.
The joke is that the goal was a penalty & it was the only goal that Manchester United scored throughout the month.

Height isnt everything baba. Positional awareness and tactical depth should see you through. Last time I checked, Danny Rose isnt a 6footer

Aina a back up to ebuehi that is yet to kick ball for benfica ? And the so called back up is always getting games for Torino

Rohr will decide and not you

Your problem is dat u hardly understand simple English. He asked if we had a proper RB, I said that we have one in ebuehi, also in his absence (as he is still recuperating), we have aina another proper RB. By that, I meant our first choice is injured and the person that stepped in is also quality (proper RB).

Na u dey cause wetin make earthquake dey see u as a dunce

ok...I think you are right. Simon as LB ...seems good...his crosses (when perfected) could even come as an added advantage

in a wingback role i would say yes. however strictly speaking as a LB no it won't work cos as a natural attacking player defending might not be his forte. for all of Simon's limitations i still prefer him in an advanced role
