Just wondering what you intend to achieve with this.......well, maybe to cause panic so people can sell their holdings at loss.
Many people including you, Peter and the person 'blessing you' have promoted one stock or the other here without anyone calling you names. You may do well by just 'countering' the 'promotion' with numbers and solid reasons.
Wondering what fundamental does AG Leventis have to make it investors' delight now....
No No No No... Don't get me wrong. I didn't call anyone names. "Promoters" is not name calling. I am a "promoter" of Access, wapco, transcorp and fbnh because I have and argue for them nothing else. I am not ashamed to be so called.
The benefit of this forum is the constructive criticism it offers. That's what helps us make objective investment decisions, and that's my own piece of it.
UPDC is to my opinion a negative on the whole deal. That's my simple opinion. If you do rights issue on a company of N1 with OS of about 2.5billion units by creating additional 15billion units, what else is remaining? What value can you place on it?
We are all here to learn, if you think am wrong kindly correct me, so that I can also join you guys to make the money. WE ARE ALL HERE FOR THE MONEY.
On AGLEVENTIS, its a different game altogether. There is a clear value to whole deal, just like diamond, dangflour and air services.
There is no clear valuation of UACN unbundling. Its all speculation.(including my opinion)

@Mpeace, with due respect, would have appreciate that you come up with your 'opinion' when the debate was on, it would have make people weigh it from both sides and take a better decision. Im not against constructive criticism, its healthy......but as some of us don siddon inside the bus finish, you come dey yarn that one...... Lol. grin
Those that mentioned it came up with detailed analysis of how they arrived at a 'buy' recommendation, reason i said u cud do well to counter it instead.
....but we all should know that market has a mind of its own and will do what it will do. Las las, na money all of us dey find. I rest my case.

The 15b will free the coy of debts. There will be little or no finance charges going forward. It is not as if the coy is totally useless but the debts hanging over it are too much.

With due respect, why are u bordering urself? wink cheesy grin
U should know that Mpeace and his fellow replicants are also(desperately) looking to key in to UACN, so quite naturally, they'll want to(even against every sound & logical reasoning) talk down the stock to achieve their aim !!
Trust u remember this?

"If u desire to fair well in the stock market , then LISTEN to the 'songs' of the leader herds and analyst alike, but pay more ATTENTION to their dance steps.
...It's a good way to Interpret their 'lyrics and choruses', and an even better way to measure the 'rhythm and heartbeat' of the market."
~Sinclair

So my dear, Mpeace and co are only doing what they have to do.
The KEY is to always follow through with ur investment personality and strategic play.
Dont forget that;

"In the stock market, SUCCESS is 1% what u have and 99% what u are.
...It's the product of what happens when u can continuously apply INSIGHT with running the race to EXCEL without let down."
~Sinclair

...and once u've imbibed this;

"To find out if u can SUCCEED more in the stock market,1st find out if u have the RIGHT TOOLS that can navigate through the worst of times and which can stand the test of time.
...otherwise, go and 'buy' it."
~Sinclair

Then u know WHAT u bought/hold and WHY u hold it !!
...then u'll realize that u need people like Mpeace, peterichy and their replicants to help u buy even much more !!

In the past, I also use to feel a bit uneasy when they attempt to talk down great coys without factual or moral justification. But overtime, I realise that the market actually need people like them to aide the process of wealth transfer as they come.
So quite frankly, aside the few manipulative trend, we also need them to help us make MONEY !! cool cheesy grin

UACN needs NO further perusal or advert.
The current play with the stock bring back memories of how we reaped great returns in DIAMOND BANK and DANGOTE FLOUR.
We shall revisit when the time of reckoning comes !!
But for now, @ Mpeace, peterichy and co, PLS KINDLY CONTINUE !! grin grin grin

Regards.

Like I told some folks at a gathering the other day;

''One of the greatest mystery behind an OPPORTUNITY is that it will sometimes 'disguise itself' and hide behind an obstacle.
...hence given a much better scenerio an 'ugly look' and blowing it out of proportion.
Because great OPPORTUNITIES are usually not found in 'a totally safe and comfortable zone'.
The key however lies in ur ability to 'weigh' the difference between that which is REAL and what is virtual, and then 'seive out' the virtual from the REAL.
...then u can 'unlock' that obstacle and grap the OPPORTUNITY.
This is especially true of the stock market terrain, particularly the NSE room.''

No be only 300% why not kukuma demand for keys to NSE vaults

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by rebekah2011(m): 5:13pm On Oct 14, 2019
My investment rule going forward is that I am not going to touch any stock with debts that have become an albatross. The financial sector is key for me. UBA, Zenith, Gtbank ( if I can get it lower than N23 ) Ucap lower than N2, Africa Prudential less than N3.5 I can hold them for the next 2 or 3 years.
