OMANBALA1: Omerou is error laden. The last AFCON was the best performance I have seen by him, best put I was wondering if it's the same onerou I know. That was at the group stage though, he then brought me back to my senses with his lack of concentration and error in judgement for the first goal against Cameroon. 1 Like |

Everytime England plays and Tammy either doesn't get minutes or gets a few minutes, he trends on Twitter. Naija Twitter really mean that boy The sad thing about his situation is that, by the time Kane finally takes a bow and leaves that first choice striker role, our poor Tammy would have been overshadowed by another younger, more English player. Perhaps the true reason he chose England, is just to pose as an English player without bothering about actually having to feature in a game. Perhaps 10 Likes |

So Tomori is still eligible for d eagles, ok But dis allegiance switch is one complicated issue, munir el haddadi is still begging FIFA to allow him play for Morocco since 2014 ,d guy played only 13 mins d case even dey court of arbitration for sports Tomori shud have a retink, but if he stills prefers England, no problem,as for Tammy,I pray he doesn't break munir's record of 13 mins 5 Likes |

fabyom: Nah, Iwobi is critical to how we play. We have no other creative midfielder. Even though, he had an average game against Brazil, he still created the best chance with Osimhen in the first. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The super eagles need creative players in midfield but ironically, our most creative players are not playing in good clubs in Europe. We should ignore this fact and invite players like kelechi nwakali, rabiu ibrahim and lukman haruna. If they can offer creativity in midfield, then we are good to go. If an Ahmed Musa who plays in Saudi Arabia or Ighalo who plays in china can be part of our team, then rabiu ibrahim who plays in slovakia and kelechi nwakali who does not even feature for his club in the second division of the spanish league should be considered. You cannot allways use club form to judge a player. It is simply too simplistic The problem is we do not have a natural attacking midfielder playing in a good club If kevin de bruyne or christian eriksen were Nigerian then we have no problem We can even try chukwuka onuwa or plays for enyimba WE NEED CREATIVE MIDFIELDERS AND PLEASE LET US GET THEM FROM ANYWERE AS LONG AS THEY CAN PLAY WELL FOR US LET US FORGET ABOUT THIER CLUB FORM. IN FACT, BEN IROHA DID NOT HAVE A GOOD CLUB CAREER BUT PLAYED WELL FOR THE NATIONAL TEAM. CLUB CAREER AND NATIONAL TEAM CAREER ARE NOT NECESSARILY DIRECTLY RELATED. 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: I remember when, going into the 2014 WC match against Argentina, we used to brag that Enyeama had never conceded a goal from Messi. We were all convinced that Enyeama had the secret antidote to Messi. Imagine our utter bamboozlement and mortification then, when the dimumitive wizard fired in a rocket into our net barely five minutes into the game. Our chorus changed to "na by mistake!", "Enyeama still dey warm up". " Messi don find trouble!, Enyeama go show am pepper today!". We need not be reminded of the superb freekick Messi curled past Enyeama shortly after.... My point is, hype with sense. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Philosopher1979: What you critically failed to include in your reasoning is the fact that both Musa and Ighalo had proven themselves at the highest level BEFORE heading to Saudi and China respectively. As at today neither Nwakali nor Rabiu is even close to being good enough to warrant a call up to the super eagles on merit. 2 Likes |
