Curtisaxel7: Lol...the message I have for everyone is same... start from somewhere...you can volunteer if there are no jobs, just make sure you're doing something. remember close to 4 years ago I moved into the streets of Abuja with my 2.1 certificate no job...walking from one highbrow area to another.... but today story is quite different. even Oga icon and others here that have been opportune to work in a reputable place all started from somewhere. the problem with our generation is impatience...we wanna make it quick. was surprised when I saw oga asking for a job slot in FIRS.... I just laugh.... that's an agency reserved for the presidency and co..even if I have a connection to get a job there will rather use it to fetch a contract.... 1 Like |

I can c some persons re talking abt salary (paid job) and self employed (creating a business thru skills or anything) D fact is if deres no Creativity in establishing business, (nobody will be employed),aside govt related jobs.. Am talking abt private or co owned business...all dis private firm/plc started from d scratch. As risky as paid job is(one can get sacked @ anytime, its d same too with trying to b an entrepreneur (its not easy to build a business from d scratch)..awever,if one have d skill and tolerance to build a business and withstand d storm it comes along with it,d latter is better..it has so many advantages dan paid jobs, besides ppu with paid jobs too,@ d end of dier working tenure, will end up starting one or two business to pay bills And lastly no salary earner has made forbe list...if u wish to b one... Own a good business 5 Likes 5 Shares |

jieta: both are good but not everyone will be salary earner and likewise not every one will be an entrepreneur.... it is even better for an entrepreneur to first work in well tailored corporate organization prior establishing his business as this will avail him.so much knowledge and discipline he needs to run a business 6 Likes |

jieta: No, my point is that salary job is not as terrible as most people make it out to seem these days. Everyone is dropping the same boring advice of "be self-employed" these days, as if salaried employment is some sort of disease. My point is that everyone should be allowed to decide for themselves which is more favorable for them, instead of being cajoled into thinking everyone who is self employed is a flexing billionaire and everyone who is in salaried employment is a suffering pauper. I believe this was clear in my original post. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

elyte89: Most people who collect salary have businesses, and clientele as well, from their jobs. Networking is easier when you already have the right contacts. Salary employment will offee you job security for some time, as well as capital to build a business, and the right contacts. Like I said, not everyone can be rich in this world. Only 100 people in the world make Forbes list, in a population of 7 billion people. Just choose what favors you and makes you happy, that's all. I personally would not subscribe to salary employment, because it is not something I am comfortable with, but I won't advise anyone who prefers it, not to go for it. To each their own, I suppose. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Rumours have resurfaced linking Super Eagles rising star Samuel Chukwueze with a departure from Villarreal. Gol Digital says Barcelona remain interested in signing PSG forward Neymar, with Ousmane Dembelé struggling with injuries since his move to the Camp Nou from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2017. The Spanish champions would have to pay crazy money to re-sign Neymar and they have lined up a move for Chukwueze in case they fail to land the Brazil superstar. Although Villarreal have inserted a release clause of 63 million euros into the Nigerian's latest contract, he is seen as a cheaper alternative to Neymar. Chukwueze has caught the eye since breaking into the first team of the Yellow Submarine, scoring 10 goals in 45 appearances and has provided five assists. Apart from the Blaugrana, Premier League clubs including Leicester City and Liverpool are believed to keeping a close eye on the right winger with a view to a transfer. Chukwueze was included in the Golden Boy 40-man shortlist but was omitted from the final shortlist recently announced 1 Like |

Eartquake1:LOL. Self employed is clearly better for who? I am telling you someone is collecting 900k as salary, and she got her first job after NYSC less than 10 years ago. You think everyone in salaried employment is working in civil service? Na civil service dem dey do that one pass. Some banks are paying 250k as starting salary. Everything depends on the person, and opportunities. An enterpreneur can still lose all the money he has made in 15 years in one day. A lot of these self-employed people are heavily indebted to banks. Na loan dey move the business, any small kasala now, all the work is gone. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

kellycute: Ebuehi is a modern RB or RWB who has pace but can still defend. Just the same way Aina is a true quality RB and or RWB. Any of these two players can interchange and over lap with offensive options not just defend. In addition both of them have pace who is faster don't know just know they are all fast. Very unlike Awaziem. |

Chima is not doing badly at all. At Belenenses, he had been involved in four games. He didn't make the last matchday squad for some reasons unknown to me but he surely have been doing fine for himself in Portugal. I don't know if he is gonna give Collins the sort of run for his money we wanna see but he could be an option shaa... BascoVanVeli: 2 Likes |

Humility017: I have some friends in Nigeria who get paid over £20k per month. Admittedly they are in oil companies and employed as expatriates although of Nigerian parentage. And that does not include the unethical hustle that they do on the side. There are some other guys l know who earn $10k dollars a month or thereabouts working for multi national IT companies. |

Come on. Alampasu is gifted. He is still young. Unless he has something better he and his agent are silently working out, the Enyimba offer was not a bad one at all. He could easily go there and become no 1 in no time and play on the continent. Anyway, I really hope he finds his bearings again. tbaba12345: 1 Like |

Icon4s: We were never going to be better than Brazil in any way shape or form. Nonetheless, considering our players and thier level they did EXCEPTIONALLY well under the circumstances. And in the scheme of things Awaziem played an intelligent game, Ekong and Ajayi did good however, Collins was chopped up like Suya by the Brazilians and the very weak link in the defence. And in terms of defence midfield and our attack, as a collective the defence edged it, YES. 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd: How much has Alampasu improved since under 17? Getting released by a club like Feirense is not good for his resume. I can not really comment on his situation because i do not know whether he is working on something. Now that we have a goalkeeping issue, he should start playing ASAP so that he might be considered. |

safarigirl: especially in Nigeria where you have to pay tax to the FIRS, state government, local government especially Amac here in Abuja... you will have to pay ITF,NSITF and others... also provide your own electricity, water, security and lots more..... to be an entrepreneur in Nigeria is not child's play even the contract u will be getting gonna take connections to get them and you'll have to part with huge sum to grease palms sometimes 1 Like |

We cannot really comment on his current GK skills. We can only speak of his dormancy right now and the bright talents he showed back then. It is sad he would turn down Enyimba if truly he and his agent have nothing in the works. I hope this lad rises again. As for the goalkeeping issue, six months is a long time. I believe someone step up and take the reins within the period of Uzoho's absence. Maduka Okoye is there... And someone else (aside Akpeyi or Ezenwa) could just gate-crash. I want to believe that by the time Uzoho returns, it will cause a big debate on who should be Super Eagles No.1 going forward. Depends on the one man who mans goal for us and keeps it till Uzoho's return. tbaba12345: 1 Like |

” Nigeria have never been easy to play against because of how they are organized and that played a role in the draw. At the back they had numbers and we had to resort to lifting high ball which they also responded to. They used a break to score the first goal in the first half, so we have to reorganize our strategy going forward because of the way they play on the counter. I couldn’t join the attack because I had a man on me and also have to keep my eyes on him”. - Daniel Alves Alves explains why Brazil resorted to crossing the ball and why he did not overlap as much. 4 Likes 3 Shares |
