A person's freedom and liberty shouldn't infringe on the freedom and liberty of others. Sadly, today it is very common to have deluded deranged people thinking that any of their sick thought process is right, and they have the right to kill to attain it.
So you won't be able to dismiss a child from school any longer, if not he will come back to kill every other students out of anger OR you can't fire anyone at work because that insane bastard will come back and shoot everyone working there. I won't think of the racist individual who thinks it's ok to shoot any colored person in the back, just because his racist self feels like it.

I am under the impression that the war is already on bro.... People do indeed die by the boatload DAILY, from gun violence.

Maybe the above is the reason why so many are killing innocent people at the drop of a hat.
You Burger takes too long to be serve, you attack the cashier, your neighbors plays too loud music, you shoot him etc...
Something needs to be done, that ain't right!

Weed us indeed legal in countless states and the abuse is on the rise...it doesn't stop people from getting high...it simply makes it better policed.... but I am certain that weed smoking never hurt a yoke but the dumbaass smoking.

This is not such a simple black and white issue... but the fact that remains that unless guns andres outlawed, you cant possibly think of eradicating gun violence. So long as common deranged mad people can own a gun, the problem.will persist.

Now let me give you an example:
In the US, neo nazi acists can gladly parade in the streets while insulting and abusing colored people. That's their constitutional right.
In the US, any sect who believes that doomsday is approaching can suddenly decide it is time to protect their communities against foreigners This same set of people can buy guns and assault rifle by the boatload. Why would both above case need the police if they think they can just go home and pick up their guns to make THEIR own sick deranged laws?

Any firearm is a weapon of mass destruction... and only investing money in more police can solve the issue while civilians are disarmed and protected by their police force. That's what needed now until all guns are removed from the hand of common people. By then you would not need that much police any longer

Come off it, you're being too sentimental! Knives kill people, a rope can kill people, even cars kill people. Should we ban all those? Some people prefer to live in eldorado and speak of things that can never happen but I prefer to be realistic. There's no way you can tell the American public that you are banning ALL FIREARMS and they'll take it like that, NO WAY! This is why no president, Democrat or Republican has ever mentioned it.The root cause of gun deaths in America is not guns but a feeling of entitlement, drug abuse and lack of overall morals. You take away guns and criminals would still get them, in as much as you can't find a solution to that, people will never give up their guns...Shikena!

We ALL must be sentimental about this issue because dumbaasses are using their guns to do every nonsense known to man. People are shooting up innocent people for flimsy excuses whatsoever.

I am sure you understand that there is a huge difference between a FIREARM and a knife or rope.

The reason why no president has ever stood against the NRA is because they are too powerful, just like no gov will ever go against Jews in America (or Israel), the banking system or pharmaceutical companies. Come on bro!

Again, criminal all over the world have access to guns, yet countries in Europe (Uk, France, Spain, Italy, Germany) are better off when it comes to gun violence... it's a no brainer.

Thinking of what criminal would do, instead of thinking of DOING WHAT IS RIGHT, is the reason why you can never think clearly on this issue. You certainly don't make laws thinking of what criminal elements "may or not" do, you make laws because that what is RIGHT for the wellbeing of your people.

You're not facing reality, many men have had good intentions/ideas but it never became a reality. Perhaps if you had a better idea instead of taking away all guns, your point might resonate with most Americans but your stance as it stands is DoA(Dead on Arrival)! Ask yourself how was America founded? Was it by doing what was right or was it by people being bold and standing up to tyranny? The government represents tyranny and any president that dares to do what you said will find himself in a civil war. This is not nigeria where cowards lives among cowards, this is the US of A, plenty werey dey here o grin grin grin

If you ban ownership of firearms guess what? Criminals don't obey laws, meaning the only people with firearms are criminals and the government. Which brings us to a situation like Nigeria where you can be robbed at your home or in your car and there's no defense. Banning firearms will never work but tougher laws and more monitoring is the key. Everyone that owns a firearm should undergo yearly renewal where there mental and physical health is tested, every firearm sold should be equipped with a remote disarm mechanism that the FBI can shut down at any time using the serial number or the chip ID. Any child that obtains a firearm left around by a parent or another adult and commits a crime with it should be jailed for 10 years and above. There are more measures that can be put in place but banning guns outright is a suicidial decision in America right now.

Lol this ur idea about chip or remote disarm mechanism should be outta possible solutions coz a criminal would not tell you he/she wants to attack a particular place plus if as an FBI ur looking to lock down a gun from shooting you'll be wasting time as many souls would be gone bfr u can even try

the best solution is nothing really can be done coz NRA wouldn't want this to end as Trump himself also values his life more than anything I'll just say RIP to the many more who would still fall

What's the population of USA.

unless everyone including newly born kids own a gun your theory is flawed.
Many people own more than one gun in in the US. In addition to that, there are people that are gun collectors. They are obsessed with guns. They collect every form of gun and add it to their collection from hand guns to assault riffles. That’s just their hobby. If you see their collection, you would think they are preparing for war. Ironically, all the weapons are legally acquired.

There is an organization called IRA. It’s an organization of gun lovers and collectors. If you are a gun enthusiast, you are free to join. They have millions of members across the United States. Their members don’t have just one gun. They collect multiple calibers of guns.

Educate yourself!

Lol...there are plenty of things that can be done, I'm in support of requiring mental evaluation for every gun owner and a yearly recertification. I'm in support of giving longterm prison sentence for parents whose children took a firearm they owned and used it to kill people. I'm also in support of banning assault weapons like AK47 and so on. All these would at least reduce the number of gun related incidents in a year. The problem now is that everything is political in the USA, common sense is no longer in the equation.

The family of an 18-year-old Nigerian student of the Kennesaw State University, who was shot dead on Sunday, believe it was because of an argument on Friday night, over loud music.

Oluwafemi Oyerinde and two other people were shot at Stadium Village Apartments on Sunday morning. The two others survived.

They were on their way out when the suspect opened fire on them. Cobb County police said that they believe they know who they're looking for.

Femi was a freshman at the university. He was studying mechanical engineering and had dreams of joining the military.

Guy....why are you talking out of your a** na. There are as many guns in the us as there are factory workers in China. Dude, guns are a PART of their culture. They own guns, have gun clubs, teach their kids how to embrace guns, have etiquette around guns....have places to keep guns when they go to work or meetings. The right to bear arms is in their constitution. Guns are human rights for them. How can you imagine nigeria even has 1/500 of the number of guns in the U.S

internationalman:

How would you know there's more firearms in the US than Nigeria.
