A305: Usually I don't respond to issues like this, but for the sake of others that may have read it.. ON THIS PLATFORM (UBER PARTNERS I MEAN) WE WOULD HAVE INSTALLED MINIMUM OF 500 TRACKERS. WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS SINCE 2015 AND NOT ONE PERSON HAS COMPLAINED ON THIS UBER PLATFORM (PLEASE CHECK OUR PROFILE). At the end of the day we may be unable to satisfy everyone. If our systems were so bad trust me there will be more complaints online. I'll leave it at that for now but trust me we've rectified trackers THAT HAD MALFUNCTIONS FREELY FOR CLIENTS. I want to believe you were asked to pay a token for the rectification and that may be the reason for this accusation. Our mobile numbers remain 08137013426, 08060675824. No one will ignore your calls. Thanks for all the patronage from this Platform. |

What determines the frequency of ridea on taxify? Activity? Rating? Or location? Cos the way this week has been dry in PHC. Less rides dey worry me. I dont know if its general. Secondly me and a felow rider can be in same spot and a ride comes, what determines who geta it. Cos las las na the guy they get am this week that my rating dropped to 4.83 |
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by izzou(m): 7:14pm On Oct 16, 2019 |
Billiodollars: Firstly, location is important. I don't know about PH so I can't give examples of good locations Secondly, your activity score matters. Try and accept requests as they come, and minimise cancellations Thirdly, the closest person to a rider gets the request. So when you go to a shopping mall, say SPAR, don't sit in your car and wait. Take a stroll into the mall with your app on. That way, the request comes faster You seem to be the only PH driver on this thread. 10 Likes 1 Share |

How does one report irresponsible drivers? This driver started saying we should go off Uber because he claimed the road is bad. 1 Like |

ornicus:Driver claimed the road was bad by rejecting your trip. You didn't think of requesting another ride but decided to report him. Is it Uber that repairs his vehicle or you think the token that Uber charges you is enough to maintain the vehicles on Lagos roads? And you may likely be the kind of rider that rates a driver low due to absorber noise but won't think that it's not the driver's fault but the road. And what do you think Uber will do the driver for rejecting your trip? Any rider that says anyhow will hear anyhow from me if he dares threaten me by reporting. PEOPLE WERE SURVIVING WITHOUT UBER AND THEY WILL STILL SURVIVE WHEN THEY STOP UBER. 33 Likes 2 Shares |

eherbal: Alas in an environment not so in line with common practice. Common practice would dictate verifiable addresses where people can be found. Common practice would dictate some system where someone's creditworthiness could be assessed. Common practice would have laws in place for recourse. The reaction was based on experience and was supposed to elicit a smile about the country we find ourselves. While I certainly empathize, my reaction stands. 9 Likes |

tunlapapa: I live in FESTAC. I follow that route twice or thrice a week The road is not ‘bad’ as the driver claimed. The road is perfectly fine. The driver effectively tried to defraud Uber , by trying to make up a story and bargain with a rider outside of ubers platform. He got summoned to me via Uber, and then started lying that the road is bad’ after which he suggested we got off Uber’.and bargain / negotiate directly. I told him, if I had wanted a Kabukabu or a taxi,I would have gotten one. That was why I deleted my post because I remembered that unfortunately, most of us here are typical Nigerians who cannot behave professionally and do our best to steal from our employers at every opportunity. The next thing is to notify the guy so he can change his story, not so? You are a typical Nigerian, with non existent customer service and a dubious personality. I am home now, in a different Uber. The guys Ac had a problem, and we spent half the journey with the windows open. I still gave him 5 stars. If it is clear to me a driver is trying to run game I will call him out. The other day some joker came in a car that did not have the same number as that shown on the app. I am sure you will start to defend that dubious behavior as well 5 Likes 1 Share |

Let's be sincere, the fact that the driver said the road was bad and was negotiating for an offline deal is kinda questionable. It could be argued he only came up with that story to negotiate for offline. He should have totally declined the trip except if the rider himself presents the offline offer. 13 Likes |

peeps4u: Now please tell me is this questionable?? Got a request at Billings way and rider was going to redemption camp(Lagos Ibadan express) I told him I can’t go because of the traffic coming back and he cancelled. I called him back to ask if we should negotiate offline but he said he got another driver. I stay at ibafo but wasn’t ready to go home yet. If he had accepted the offline, I would have dropped him and gone home. So was that greed Note I’m not supporting anyone but don’t be too quick to point fingers. Offline is MOST TIMES negotiated by the driver sir and not the rider. 1 Like 1 Share |

The kind of insults one receives daily on this job ehn! But uve developed a thick skin tho. I got a request today at agungi, immediately she called she already sounded rude. And then she said her 2 housemates are following me to go pick her children at school and I bring them back. I said okay.. On our way back , this woman called me that can I buy a tuber of yam for her on the way, that she'll reimburse me my money when we come back.. I just jejely handed over 5h to one of the girls and she went to buy yam. This woman called back and started raking/shouting for me, that she nva sent her houseful, that it's me. I told her i cant buy yam, I don't know where they sell yams. She dropped the call on me Nd hissed. After the trip, the woman gave me a 1start just because undid not buy a tuber of yam for her. I'm just weak .. 3 Likes |
