It has already been firmly established that the vehicles are designed in China. The only indigenous design is that badge.

More to the point vehicle styling is not done by your run of the mill creative designers. You may not realise it, but just about anyone can put out a logo and plenty of people do.

Virtual prototyping is done by actual automotive designers using software like autodesk vred.

Sadly, most of the professionals have left this forum.

If Steve jobs had been holidaying in some vineyard in France, we would be calling the company grape today. I doubt if any thought or significant investment went into the logos of intel, Honda Mercedes or BMW. Build your product and the world will beat a path to your door. A fancy logo is just the icing on the cake. My own opinion.

A good portion of their cars are not really "beautiful", don't you think a Graphics designer can help?


He'll just bring up a design on PC, and the company implement the design in real life.

Vehicle design is for trained engineers, not graphic artists.

See here, let me break it down for you in simple terms.

In 2005, my wife set up a company. She needed a logo. I sat down with power point and spat one out. Three years ago, a friend and I needed a logo for his company. I made one.

Two years ago. I needed a logo for a company I was using, I made one.

I made a logo as far as two months back for a company I and some people are partnering with.


I am an engineer, and I am a perfectionist in some ways. One of the things I do is M&E drawings. These are always professional with a proper logo of the company. So I sometimes have to redo the logo to come out well in autocad. I also do 3d modelling qnd architectural visualisations where you want a copany logo to be shown on a totem sign.

It is not a big deal to create a logo. Companies are made everyday, and people form the owners to amateurs to professionals make company logos.

The point that has completely flown over your head is that what sells a product in the end is not a fancy logo, but the product itself. Has coca colas basic logo changed from the 1800s? Or mac Donalds arches

Ford's logo is the ugliest car logo I have seen. It had not been changed.

Once upon a time, when Internet was expensive, this forum had actual professionals who would argue, while people like you would lurk, learn and understand. There were car designers who would argue about the merits of catia 5. Issues like air bag recalls would be throughly laid out. Alas, today they are gone, and we are stuck with ignorant children who have access to the all the knowledge they need at the click of a button, but choose to be foolishly ignorant. Google car design. Google logo design. Google baic. But they will rather argue blindly and foolishly.

You think this country is bad now? How will it be in the hands of your generation, a bunch of lazy slothful minds who cannot even try to understand that making a logo does not make you an automotive engineer.

Everyday we see you making fools of this country and blacks in general when some quack showcases an invention whose operating principles violate basic physics laws. You all start celebrating.

so Jelani Aliyu and a person who makes a logo are both qualified to design cars?

or do you think jelani aliyu did not go to a university, study the relevant courses, get employed and rise through the ranks?
