go to your local government and sign your form.

Thanks man. I'm about doing that though. I intend going today. Will my LG signature be enough or I still have to find an officer from my state to sign for me also.

once you get your form signed by your local government chairman, I don't think you need an officer to sign again.
kindly read the form it was stated there.

I'm sure it's two.

One from chairman or secretary....the other from ACP/lt col./commander/wing commander.......

Still stand to be corrected on this oh

I also saw it like that on the form that any can act, but still I can't be certain about that.

Please let someone that knows much about the process help us with the right answer. Because from what was stated, I feel the local government chairman or secretary's signature should be enough.

Please guys help a brother. I'm struggling to see an officer with the rank required to sign from state(Abia State). Most of the qualified officers I met are mostly northerners or from the west. The only one I saw from the East is from Enugu.

Some of the officers were insisting they can't put their pictures as stated in the form.

Please I really need help on what to do.

Hi bro ,you'll be fine las las .Pls do you stay in Lag?

trust me on this one your local government chairman can sign for you. I have done it more than once, don't just go and suffer ur self looking for military personnel. if you have someone with the required rank in the Nigerian police from ur state he or she can still sign for you. mind you having a military personnel sign your form doesn't transcend into advantage over others.

I get you.

But ...

....You don't understand what I was saying..... So, only one signed reference form is enough or two as it is stated??....

So that the oga asking can get help sharply.

Cos it was stated that two reference forms are needed on the registration portal.
Below is the entry requirements.....check out number 5.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. All applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
2. Be a Nigerian as defined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
3. Be a male or female between the ages of 20 and 32 years, while medical consultants should not be more than 40 years of age by January 2020.
4. Be medically, mentally and physically fit according to NA standards.
5. Be recommended by at least 2 recognizable referees who must attest to the applicant’s character and integrity. These could be a Local Govement Chairman/Secretary or any officer of the Armed Forces not below the rank of a Lieutenant Colonel and equivalent or an Assistant Commissioner of Police and above who must hail from the applicant’s state of origin. Passport photographs of referees must be affixed to the letter of attestation.
Candidates must submit a letter of Attestation from their former institutions.

So you have only one reference formed signed??
Re: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by KODACK: 10:15am On Oct 17, 2019
Lukas47:
As intending officers we should learn how to follow instructions.

The instruction is that you must be recommended by at least 2(two) referees.

Your local government chairman can only sign the ATTESTATION FORM( this is to attest that you are from the state and also an indigene of that LGA) and 1 referee form.

You will need another referee to stand as a second guarantor.

the LGA Secretary can stand as the second guarantor.

Please note as regards the REFEREE FORM, we are expected to print 2 copies.

Exactly....... And boogie2910 is saying otherwise..... ucheuzor1 continue your struggle now to get someone to sign for you while you still have time oh

b.Print Out.Applicants must print out their online generated photo-slip on completion of their application. The first page is to be signed by the Registrar of Court of Law while the second page is to be signed by the applicants’ Local Government Chairman/Secretary or any military officer of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent and above who hails from his/her state. Successful applicants would be required to present their printed photo-slips to the selection board during interview. What about this
you too read what you bolded, are the first and second page the referee form? No they aren't, there is different form for referee, those two were attestation not referee form.
