Please, is that crs tool really accurate or it's just an estimate? Because I used it without putting my spouse's ielts, ECA and work experience, only my details and the score is quite high. High enough to get me an ITA with the most recent score.

If you have an MSC, High IELTS score and 3years work exp, it should be high

Be sure you didn't select work experience or education in Canada (unless you legitimately have had work experience/education in Canada). It's a common mistake.

LONG POST, BUT HOPEFULLY, IT WILL INSPIRE SOMEONE THE WAY OTHERS INSPIRED ME.

I first heard about the express entry in 2016. A cousin of mine told me to apply(He too was considering it at that time), but I just ignored the thing. Anything that has so many processes and procedures to it usually puts me off.
He told me I stood a better chance than him because of my masters degree, but I didn’t even know what this meant.
I have good grades from school, and even a masters degree, but zero work experience. I’ve applied too many times, and no luck, so I was just focusing on my entrepreneurial business.

In 2018, that my cousin got his PPR and left in march with his wife. That’s when it dawned on me that there’s a possibility in this express entry thing.

I spoke to my babe about it, and asked that we try. She agreed to be the principal applicant, since she has genuine work experience.
She took the IELTS in july 2018, and she passed in one sitting (LRSW 8.5,7.0,8.0,8.0) to the glory of God.
Our money didn’t waste, and that gave us hope. There was so much fear before the exam, but we were happy with the results.
We then did our ECA with IQAS(experts said IQAS is better for people with Law degree). This took so so long, about 6 months.
Finally, we got assessed in February 2019, and Immediately, we entered the pool(we were using the long wait time to arrange ourselves and plan).
A few days after entering the pool, we got an ITA( we had a crs of 478).

We immediately began to fill everything. Her medicals was done at IOM, and PCC through a contact who said he knows someone at alagbon police station.
All the while, we were submitting documents for my babe alone, as she’s the principal applicant.
We got reference from her place of work.

We put the money in FD for 6 months.
Everything was explained in the LOE, and all the receipts, the bank letters, the FD certificate….
We locked in our application, and were asked to pay the RPRF which we did .
Got AOR almost immediately, March 9 2019.
Immediately, myself and babe did our introduction the same month( we had been dating for over 3 years) we also did our Registry. We got the marriage certificate, took plenty pictures, then sent everything to IRCC via webform, informing them of status change.
In some days, they responded, congratulating us, and telling us to send a mail to Ottawa via one email addresss, and to inform them. That was when we knew our VO was

yes, but i will also advise you seek the advice of a lawyer, in case there are other documents to be tendered besides the affidavit that will prove to the immigration officer your husband truly has no claim to the child.

note; some of these documents will require the father's signature. i hope he's readily available to avoid any form of delay.

But like i said earlier, the mother was never married to the child's father. The mother had the child when she was young and she alone has been responsible for the child's upkeep

She still has to show proof she has the sole custody of the child. This means the Father will have signed over custody of the child to the mother. You need a Lawyer.

This is a false mindset we need to drop. Nigerians were great even before the white man came. The Benin Kingdom was so well regulated and run that even the British were amazed. Their own country was dirty and crime ridden, so they were shocked that black people could live so well. There was nothing like crime back then and people lived in harmony and settled their cases in a civilised manner. Benin Kingdom is just one example of this.
really cheesy

Some people sha. That bit of information is too much.... I just hope IRCC doesn't see things like this and then make the conditions attached to gift deed to change.

While congratulations is in order, that part and everything that concerns that part of the story must be condemned seriously and deleted from this platform for the sake of genuine beneficiaries/users of gift deeds.

Lucky you.
I applied for Transcript from EKSU( formerly UNAD) since June, and up till now they are still looking for a course i did in 100L which was 10 years ago. I'm totally fed up. I dont even know what to do anymore.
An EKSU alumni here. Quite strange. My transcript came out in less than a month. Did you finish from Management Sciences?
