Please, anyone that has gone for his/her legalization at Abuja, should tell us the process and current cost for it.

studying in SK seems difficult due to the lack of information, coupled with fact that many of their schools don't have informative website.

Chest X-ray and Tuberculosis test, after you have gotten Visa. Not before application or upon admission.

Yes I was in Abuja few weeks ago to legalize my documents. Go to the ministry of education, go as early as 7 a.m and get a number from the security guard, then wait until ten. By 10:00, you will go upstairs and follow the process, before 1 pm you are done or at most 3 pm. Each page at the ministry is 300 Naira for legalization. From the ministry cross to the other side of the road and get to the foreign affairs, there You submit and each document is 500 Naira. Be sure not to go on Friday, no one will attend to you except Monday to Thursday. Then travel to the embassy in Lagos, I went to the embassy in Abuja but didn’t have the document they needed. I traveled to the embassy in Lagos and was able to do all I needed. If you are considering Lagos, kindly go with US dollars, Naira is not accepted and it’s 4 US dollars per document. I hope this helps.

Thanks, I really appreciate your detailed explanation.

I'm travelling from Lagos to Abuja, I'll like to know which documents the embassy at Abuja require, so I'll just do everything at once there.

Thanks again

What go to Abuja to do it. There is ministry of education, foreign affairs and Korea embassy in lagos. D ministry of foreign affairs is close to the Korea embassy. Just that d ministry of edu is farer( mainland) m going to notarise ma document next week and is only ma degree certificate i will notarise from the school checklist. Or is there any documents again?. My school will send the original transcript direct to sch so no need of notarization

Hi, Abuja requested for an attestation letter from your institution (I had the photocopy, but they rejected it). I met someone there who gave them a scanned copy of his attestation and it was rejected as well. You can only notarize in the ministries at Abuja, if not I would have gone to Lagos. Other requirements include a sworn court affidavit that the documents are yours(you will need this for the embassy in Lagos or Abuja) Abuja accepts Naira but Lagos US dollars, it is 1600 in Abuja. In Abuja embassy it will take 5 working days except you have a proof that it is urgent, in Lagos you get your documents within hours. I hope you understand better now.

Plz dear throw so ideals in on how to get south Korea visa.
acadollar:
There has been thread for so many countries with none for south korea.
You can ask questions if you wish to come here,
Its not a bad place afterall and you can work legally even as student after your ist 6 months of coming and having a good grades.
But is not an english speaking country.
If you have enough money, you can invest and obtain a business visa.
Feel free to ask questions.
Nigerians with bad image, drugs, terrorism and money issues, please back off, the hustle is real here.

if you have original attestation letter, you don’t need to go to Lagos, I went to Lagos because I didn’t have the original copy of my attestation letter.

Hi, were you able to use the photocopy of the attestation letter in Lagos or was it not required?
A long short? After the legalization, were you given a certificate of legalization? My school requires a certificate of Authentication from the consulate.
Another long shot: did you submit original documents or the copies authenticated at the embassy.

Thanks

Hello it was not required in Lagos. A document is placed by the embassy on your documents as the legalization, I guess that should serve as the certificate. Authenticated copies and original copies are required as proof. I hope this explanation will help.

Not sure I can here as I don’t want to derail from the topic of the thread
That’s the main reason why I mentioned having a private chat

Feel free to send a DM

I don't even have the letter of attestation from my school, so I'll be going for the Lagos embassy route.

Just certificate of English proficiency that I have paid for over 3months now, my school haven't sent it to me, I'll rather not try contacting them for another document.
