To be honest, no! It's only when it comes to pricing, the more expensive it is the more likely its original as regards to Naija setting but where you are buying it from also matters. I do know how however that those that come in with console are original so if someone honest is selling it out of the box then go for those.

To answer your question; injecting is a thing of the past these days for experts who know how to go about it, what we have now is hybrid hack for multiman. The best way to know is from the type of console you have; every Fat PS3 can be hacked with full multiman functionality, superslims fall into the hybrid multiman hack, it's only when you get to slims that things get quite tricky but as a rule of thumb consoles with serial numbers Cech 2**** are usually the ones among the slims that can be hacked with full multiman functionality as long as their firmware when checked is 3.55 and below.

Another way to know is if all the games you have are launched only via the multiman smiley first before running the main game itself.
