If this ID card cannot withdraw money from an ATM for at least five years, then I support Atiku wholeheartedly on this. 1 Like |

According to Atiku, it is the right of all Nigerians to get the ID for free and not to pay any money adding that nobody should pay the money. An ID isnt a right. I dont get Nigerians childish (socialist) attitude about paying for stuff. If you dont pay directly the government has to tax you to provide it. National ID shouldn't be different from passports or drivers licenses. How do some of you live without an ID. Dont you need it to open bank account or check into hotel rooms at least? 1 Like 1 Share |

Smithkafors: You're correct has been not anymore it seems. Having an ID for free isnt a right. Where in the constitution or any laws did you or Atiku read that. Yes as an adult you do pay for goverment services directly with fee or indirectly with taxes. imiski: Think your arguement through before replying me. You dont have right to free ID. Cite the law if you're so sure. Everyone should pay for their own ID just like you do the others. The only thing I'd want is them to mail it to me. NIPOST should be put to use. |

Birthdate - 1st Oct 1960 Height - 26cm No wonder Nigeria can't see and plan far ahead. Atiku is trespassing telling people to defy govt. What kind of opposition party is this man leading? N5000 is an okay amount for the id. We pay more than that just to get our own money out of bank machines. |

ken6488: Lol I didnt know you were so impoverished. It sucks to suck guy work harder. 5k shouldn't make grown man sweat. Nigerians figured out how to pay for drivers licenses without dying of hunger after. denko: Allocating it and running FG with it. Is poverty stopping you from paying 5k? It's weird how you guys somehow afford wifi and electronic devices yet whine about tiny fee. |

ken6488: You have to pay for the same reason you pay for your other IDs. The government doesn't need to budget cash for your ID. 5k is a reasonable price. If you're too poor get help from your family or friends. |

Why are you people lamenting like this? Since it's under Buhari's administration, will cover the expenses for his fellow Nairalanders nah. The guy has made quite a fortune from his dead Godzilla meat grills he sells, that's why he's always supporting Buhari since the bad economy doesn't affect him. So you people should relax. |
